In addition, the impact of Typhoon Yagi in recent days has caused vehicles transporting export goods to Huu Nghi international border gate to line up on National Highway 1A to wait for gradual regulation into the border gate area, potentially causing insecurity, traffic safety and affecting environmental sanitation.
To minimize the number of vehicles carrying goods through Huu Nghi international border gate having to queue on National Highway 1A, implementing the direction and on the basis of agreement with the functional forces, the Border Gate Management Center (Dong Dang - Lang Son Border Gate Economic Zone Management Board) informs drivers and businesses about regulating vehicles carrying export goods through Huu Nghi international border gate into the Duty Free Zone.
Accordingly, from 9:00 a.m. on September 10, 2024, all vehicles carrying goods awaiting export through Huu Nghi international border gate will be regulated into the Duty Free Zone (in Tan My commune, Van Lang district) to stop and park until further notice. Lang Son will not collect fees from vehicles carrying goods awaiting export stopping and parking in this Duty Free Zone.
To ensure the process of regulating, arranging and dividing the flow of vehicles carrying goods waiting for export through Huu Nghi international border gate in a scientific, reasonable, public and transparent manner, minimizing the prolonged stopping of vehicles on National Highway 1A; at the same time ensuring security, order, traffic safety and environmental sanitation, the Border Gate Management Center requests the functional forces at the border gate and related agencies and units according to their functions and tasks to consider arranging forces to coordinate in regulating and dividing the flow of vehicles carrying goods on routes inside and outside the border gate area.
The Border Gate Management Center also widely informs agencies, units, functional forces at the border gate and individuals and businesses operating import and export through Huu Nghi international border gate to know, pay attention and coordinate implementation.
