The leader of the Project Management Board for Upgrading Section Km18 - Km80, National Highway 4B, under the Department of Construction of Lang Son province, said that up to now, the People's Committees of Loc Binh and Dinh Lap districts have handed over 100% of the land to implement the project.
On that basis, the Department of Construction of Lang Son province has issued a plan to implement and complete this key project in 2025.
Thanks to the early handover of land by the people, many sections on National Highway 4B have now completed upgrading and renovating the road surface.
Accordingly, currently, the Project Management Board for Upgrading the section Km18 - Km80, National Highway 4B is directing and urging the contractor and related units to focus on constructing the roadbed, road surface; bridge works; drainage works, embankments... in the first quarter. By the fourth quarter of this year, the construction, acceptance, handover and putting the project into use must be completed.
It is known that the project to upgrade section Km 18 - Km 80, National Highway 4B, Lang Son province with a total length of 63.387km, total investment of nearly 2.3 trillion VND from the program of economic and social recovery and development.
The project has a total area of 201.87 hectares (Loc Binh district 79.2 hectares, Dinh Lap district 122.67 hectares). The total area to be recovered, compensated, and supported for site clearance on the main route is about 80.87 hectares/1,802 households, of which Loc Binh district is about 49.35 hectares/818 households; Dinh Lap district is about 31.52 hectares/984 households.
The project started in early 2024 and was originally scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024. However, due to unfavorable weather and site clearance issues, the completion date was approved to be extended until the end of 2025.
