Argentine media: Dien Bien Phu victory has great historical significance

On May 2, a series of major Argentine newspapers published articles about Vietnam's Dien Bien Phu Victory, affirming that the Dien Bien Phu Victory not only influenced Vietnam's history but also changed the world situation, and at the same time stating that the victory originated from the strength of the great national unity bloc under the leadership of the Party and President Ho Chi Minh.

The ABC Mundial website published an article emphasizing that the Dien Bien Phu victory not only marked the end of French colonialism in Vietnam but also left an indelible mark in human history.

According to ABC Mundial, exactly 70 years ago, from March 13 to May 7, 1954, the Vietnamese army and people under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by President Ho Chi Minh, carried out the strategic battle of Dien Bien Phu, creating a victory that "resounded throughout the five continents and shook the world", marking a great turning point in the history of the struggle to build and defend the country of the Vietnamese people.

The author of the article affirms that the Dien Bien Phu Victory is a symbol of the comprehensive resistance of the Vietnamese people.

From resistance on the battlefield to political, economic and diplomatic struggles, all components of Vietnamese society joined together to repel the invaders.

Meanwhile, ReporteAsia emphasized the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh in the people's resistance war, gathering great national unity, promoting patriotism to the highest degree to achieve the Dien Bien Phu victory.

The newspaper reported that 70 years ago, after 56 days and nights of brave, resourceful, and creative fighting, the Vietnamese army and people destroyed the entire Dien Bien Phu stronghold, annihilating and capturing French troops there; shooting down dozens of planes, vehicles, and all weapons, warehouses, military uniforms, and military equipment of the French army.

Besides the spirit of great solidarity and the great contributions of human and material resources to the Dien Bien Phu campaign, Vietnam's bravery and intelligence were also demonstrated in the spirit of determination to fight and win of the entire nation.

Under the leadership and organization of the Communist Party of Vietnam, headed by President Ho Chi Minh, the invincible spiritual strength of the Vietnamese people was aroused and transformed into material strength to defeat the enemy.

The newspaper Ámbito Internacional published an article affirming that the Dien Bien Phu Victory marked the worst defeat of colonialism, and commented that nearly 70 years have passed but the great stature and historical significance of the Dien Bien Phu Victory still holds true today.

The victory of Dien Bien Phu contributed greatly to the progress of humanity, and at the same time proved the truth that if oppressed and invaded nations have a strong will and a correct, creative path, and know how to unite to fight for independence and freedom, that nation will certainly win.
