Dai Loc celebrates 50 years of homeland liberation

In the joyful atmosphere to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam province; the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, towards the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification; on the evening of March 28, Dai Loc district solemnly held the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the homeland (March 28, 1975 - March 28, 2025).

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Nam province Nguyen Duc Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Phan Thai Binh, along with comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, leaders of Departments, branches, veteran revolutionaries, Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces...

The speech at the ceremony said that on the morning of March 26, 1975, the District Uprising Committee organized a large rally in Phu Long village, Dai Thang commune in the joy and emotion of the armed forces, military and civilian cadres of the district. On the night of March 27, seizing the opportunity when the enemy's main force withdrew to defend Da Nang, the masses rose up to disarm the enemy in the Tay Cau Chim and Ai My areas. Then, on March 28, our attacks all advanced close to Ai Nghia district. At exactly 4:00 p.m. on March 28, 1975, the flag of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam - the glorious flag soaked in the blood of compatriots and comrades during decades of protracted resistance proudly flew on the flagpole of Dai Loc district. After the day the homeland was completely liberated, Dai Loc started to build and develop the socio-economy. Overcoming many difficulties and challenges, Dai Loc district has now grown steadily.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Duc Dung emphasized that through the ups and downs of history, Dai Loc has always been a brave and resilient land, where many revolutionary movements were initiated. In the current trend, when the economic space is increasingly expanding, the legal corridor is increasingly open, Dai Loc needs to continue to promote its existing strengths, promptly identify and seize opportunities to truly become an important economic and social center of the region.
