Bac Lieu Department of Agriculture and Environment: Exchange of cooperation information with Can Tho University in the fields of environmental protection, agricultural production and aquaculture

On the afternoon of April 3, Mr. Luu Hoang Ly - Director of Bac Lieu Department of Agriculture and Environment and units under the Department had a working session and exchanged information on cooperation with the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources of Can Tho University in the fields of environmental protection, agricultural production and aquaculture.

At the meeting, the units under the Department of Agriculture and Environment raised a number of issues to discuss and coordinate the implementation of a number of key tasks related to the Agriculture and Environment sector such as: Coordinating the implementation of a number of tasks and projects related to environmental protection, especially the environment in super-intensive shrimp farming, agricultural by-product treatment models, models of rural solid waste treatment and a number of other issues related to agriculture, environmental protection and aquaculture. Technology for treating water hyacinth, water resources, noise pollution due to swiftlet farming; shrimp farming under forest canopy, water resource monitoring. Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Luu Hoang Ly - Director of Bac Lieu Department of Agriculture and Environment sincerely thanked the teachers of the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources and the specialized departments of the Faculty. At the same time, he hoped that in the coming time, the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources will have a number of practical research cooperation projects on environmental protection in agricultural production and aquaculture in Bac Lieu province...
