Hue University of Education has a new principal

On July 31, Hue University of Education held a ceremony to announce the Resolution recognizing the Rector and appointing the Vice Rector for the 2020-2025 term.

At the ceremony, the Hue University Council announced Resolution No. 22/NQ-HDĐH on the recognition of the Rector of the University of Education, Hue University. Accordingly, Mr. Le Ho Son, PhD, Senior Lecturer, Head of the Organization and Administration Department of the University of Education, Hue University, was recognized as the Rector of the school for the 2020-2025 term.

Associate Professor, Dr. Le Anh Phuong, Director of Hue University, delivered a congratulatory speech to the new Principal and Vice Principal of Hue University of Education.

Dr. Le Ho Son, born in 1976, graduated with a degree in Philosophy. Before holding the position of Principal, Dr. Le Ho Son held many positions, such as lecturer of the Faculty of Political Education, Deputy Head of the Department of Postgraduate Training, Head of the Department of Organization and Administration, University of Education, Hue University.

Also at the ceremony, the Council of Hue University of Education announced Resolution No. 29/NQ-HDĐH of the Chairman of the University Council on the appointment of Vice Rector of Hue University of Education for the 2020-2025 term.

Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hung (born in 1980), Head of the Department of Psychology and Education, University of Education, Hue University, was appointed Vice Principal of the School for the 2020-2025 term.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Le Ho Son, the new Principal, said that the Hue University of Education is one of the prestigious teacher training institutions in the Central Highlands and the whole country. Over the past time, the school has always received attention and support from the Ministry of Education and Training, leaders of Thua Thien Hue province, Hue University and local leaders.

According to Dr. Le Ho Son, the challenges that the education sector in general and the University of Education, Hue University in particular, have been facing are in terms of enrollment, international cooperation, scientific research, facilities, and staff development.

“Our heritage is not just numbers, but more importantly, the word “love”: love between teachers and students, love between colleagues and humanity, and even more so, love for people. That is the foundation for Hue University of Education to create its own cultural characteristics, strongly assert itself in the digital age, and actively build values ​​that last forever,” Dr. Le Ho Son expressed.

We believe that in the coming time, the University of Education, Hue University will grow strongly, becoming one of the key pedagogical universities, one of the leading factors contributing to making Hue University a National University, contributing to making Thua Thien Hue province a city directly under the Central Government”, Dr. Le Ho Son affirmed.
