At the ceremony to announce and receive the certificate of meeting the standards of quality assessment of educational institutions, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Khac Cuong - Vice Principal of the University emphasized: Hong Bang International University identifies quality assurance as one of the key activities, going into depth to improve and enhance the quality of all aspects of activities, from training, scientific research, community service, etc., towards sustainable development, helping learners to promote their own capacity, improving the quality of human resources.
Over the past 5 years, with outstanding efforts, a culture of quality assurance has been formed and spread to all members of the entire school. According to the plan, by the end of the 2024-2025 school year, the School will complete the assessment of all eligible undergraduate training programs and some graduate training programs.
Regarding the work of assessing the quality of educational institutions in the second cycle (2019-2024 period), Associate Professor, Dr. Le Khac Cuong said: In May 2023, the School established the Council for Self-Assessment of the Quality of Educational Institutions in the second cycle, the Secretariat and specialized groups to collect, organize evidence and write self-assessment reports according to the Set of Standards for Assessing the Quality of Educational Institutions issued under Circular No. 12/2017/TT-BGDDT dated May 19, 2017 of the Ministry of Education and Training. After more than 8 months of implementing the self-assessment work and external surveys and assessments conducted by the Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center. As a result, on April 29, 2024, the Director of the Center issued a decision to recognize the quality assessment of educational institutions for the School.
At the ceremony, on behalf of Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center, Dr. Phi Thi Nguyet Thanh, Deputy Director of the Center, highly appreciated the efforts of the School in quality assurance activities, external assessment of training programs, especially the successful assessment of the quality of Educational Institutions in the second cycle (2019-2024). All 4 areas including Quality assurance in strategy, Quality assurance in system, Quality assurance in functional implementation and Operational results achieved good results.
Currently, Hong Bang International University provides multi-disciplinary and multi-field training with 41 undergraduate training programs, 21 doctoral, master's and level 1 specialist training programs, including programs taught in Vietnamese and English in most important fields of society such as: Health Sciences, Economics - Management, International Languages and Cultures, Social Sciences, Technology - Engineering, Educational Sciences and Teacher Training.
The school not only trains domestic human resources but is also the destination of many international students from India, Korea, Japan, Honduras, etc., affirming the school's position and reputation in higher education.
