(Fatherland) - On July 17, 2024, the Admissions Council of Hong Bang International University (HIU) officially announced the threshold score to ensure the quality of admission to the 2024 regular university (floor score) and the method of considering the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam for regular university training programs.
Accordingly, HIU's entrance score threshold is from 15 points for all majors: Economics - Administration; International languages and cultures; Social sciences; Technology - Engineering; Educational sciences.
This score includes regional and subject priority points and is calculated by the total score of the 3-subject combination for each admission major as follows:
Candidates should note that they need to comply with the 2024 university admission regulations: All candidates who have taken the 2024 high school graduation exam, are eligible to be recognized as high school graduates and have a total admission score from the above input quality assurance threshold or higher can apply for admission to HIU. Candidates need to REGISTER FOR ADMISSION on the Ministry of Education and Training's system with the school code HIU from July 18, 2024 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, 2024 (according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training).
At the same time, candidates need to supplement the necessary documents to be officially recognized as admitted according to regulations. The admission results will be announced before August 19, 2023.
For candidates who have met the conditions to be admitted to HIU according to one of the early admission methods (regarding academic records or considering competency assessment scores) and have received a notice of conditional admission from the School, to be officially recognized as admitted, candidates need to put the eligible major that they want to study in the first order (first choice) to receive an additional 100% scholarship for the first semester tuition, meaning that admission does not require tuition payment for 28 potential majors. In addition, the school has other special policies for 5 specific majors in the health sector, with a valuable exclusive gift set and a 60% IELTS scholarship, worth 33 million VND/student.
In addition, HIU also accepts applications for admission using the 2024 National High School Graduation Exam Scores of Ho Chi Minh City National University through the common system of Ho Chi Minh City National University and the High School Academic Results (Transcripts) method according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training for 39 training programs of the University. HIU continues to accept applications for the next round of Transcripts until July 30, 2023. Candidates can choose 1 of the 2 following methods to optimize their admission opportunities.
