Head of the Central Organizing Committee Le Minh Hung works with the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee

On October 26, Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission, had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee on the situation and results of the implementation of the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025 and the preparation work for the Party Congresses at all levels of the province. Also working was Comrade Nguyen Quang Duong, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission. On the side of Quang Ninh province, there was Comrade Vu Dai Thang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee.

Quang Ninh province implemented the Resolution of the 15th Provincial Party Congress in the context of favorable conditions from the foundation of innovation and development of previous terms, intertwined with many difficulties and challenges, especially in the face of the complicated and prolonged developments of the Covid-19 pandemic and the devastation of storm No. 3 seriously affecting all aspects of socio-economic life.

In that context, closely following the Party and State's policies and guidelines, along with the timely leadership and direction of the Central Government; promoting the spirit of self-reliance, solidarity tradition, dynamism and creativity, the entire political system of the province has joined hands and unanimously implemented the assigned tasks. Up to now, 4/19 targets have been completed and exceeded the set targets; 12/19 targets are being implemented on schedule, expected to reach and exceed the Resolution targets; 3/19 targets are continuing to strive to reach the finish line. By the end of 2023, many areas have completed the goals of the entire term. Quang Ninh continues to maintain its position as one of the leading localities in the country in socio-economic development, administrative reform, and improvement of the investment and business environment. The quality of people's lives is constantly improving.

Regarding the preparation for the Party Congresses at all levels, implementing Directive No. 35 of the Politburo, the Provincial Party Committee has issued a Plan on organizing Party Congresses at all levels towards the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and organizing dissemination to each grassroots Party organization and Party members. The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee has established Subcommittees to serve the Provincial Party Congress; listened to and gave opinions on the Preliminary Outline of the Political Report of the 16th Provincial Party Congress; deployed personnel planning to participate in the Central Party Executive Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the term 2025-2030; completed 4 training courses for candidates for positions managed by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for 201 cadres...

Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Le Minh Hung, Politburo member, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, highly appreciated the positive results achieved by Quang Ninh province since the beginning of the term. The determination, great efforts, dynamism, creativity and daring to innovate of the province have brought about very positive breakthroughs for the province in socio-economic development, while contributing many experiences and practices to the Central Government. With a very solid development foundation of Quang Ninh, it is a prerequisite for Quang Ninh to develop strongly in the coming time.

He suggested that in the coming time, the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee continue to lead and direct the promotion of the tradition of internal solidarity, the will of self-reliance, the aspiration to rise up as well as focus on overcoming shortcomings and limitations to promote the development of the province, maintaining the momentum of double-digit growth.

Regarding the preparation for Party congresses at all levels, the Head of the Central Organizing Committee requested the province to continue to lead, direct, concretize and implement Directive No. 35 of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. In particular, focus on building documents to submit to the Congress to ensure scientific and quality, fully reflecting the reality and development thinking of the province and the country. At the same time, absorb the new guiding viewpoints of the Central Committee and the General Secretary in the process of completion. For issues that are clear and have been proven correct by practice, they should be concretized immediately in the Congress Resolution, ensuring that they can be implemented immediately after the Congress. In addition, he also suggested that the province pay attention to doing a good job in personnel work for the next term, including taking care of training, fostering, rotation, and personnel planning for the next term to ensure standards and conditions according to regulations, especially for cadres with new thinking, daring to think, daring to do, and having affirmed their capacity through specific work products. Thereby, continuing to bring Quang Ninh to achieve new and stronger steps of development.
