The Politburo has issued a Decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Quan Minh Cuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.

Cao Bang Provincial Party Secretary Quan Minh Cuong was born in 1969; hometown is Van Giang district, Hung Yen province. Education: Bachelor of Police, Doctor of Law.

Before November 2019, Mr. Quan Minh Cuong held the following positions: Secretary of the Deputy Director General of the General Department of Police; Deputy Head of the Science and Legal Department, General Staff Department, General Department of Police; Deputy Director and then Director of the Department of Internal Political Protection, Central Organization Department; Director of the Department of Internal Political Protection, Central Organization Department;

From November 2019 - June 2020: Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.

From July 2020: Deputy Secretary of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee.

From July 2021: Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province.
