On September 12, the commander of Truong Sa Town Medical Center said that the unit is treating a fisherman in Binh Dinh suspected of having acute pancreatitis while fishing at sea.
Previously, on the morning of September 11, Mr. Le Ku (45 years old, residing in Hoai Nhon town, Binh Dinh), a fisherman on fishing boat KH 91580, had abdominal pain in the epigastric region and flanks on both sides, accompanied by symptoms such as constipation, defecation, and little urination. These symptoms increased, so the fishing boat took Mr. Ku to the emergency room at Truong Sa town Medical Center.
Doctors at Truong Sa Town Medical Center suspect that this fisherman has acute pancreatitis, with a risk of progressive infection and damage to multiple organs such as the liver and kidneys.
The patient is being actively treated with measures such as fluid replacement, pain relief, antibiotics and close monitoring of vital signs.
Truong Sa Town Medical Center consulted with experts at Military Hospital 175 and continued to closely monitor the patient's condition, promptly reporting any abnormalities to ensure optimal treatment regimen.
