The exhibition “The Heritage of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac” is part of the activities commemorating the 300th anniversary of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac’s birth, affirming the great contributions of the great physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac to the fields of medicine, literature, culture, and history of Vietnam and the world.

The exhibition was assigned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province to the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts in coordination with relevant units.
The exhibition aims to honor the heritage values of the Great Physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac and honor him as a World Cultural Celebrity, while educating traditions, arousing pride in the homeland and country; inheriting and promoting the heritage values of the Great Physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac in the new period.

The exhibition introduces many images and documents with 4 contents: Le Huu Trac - Life, career and path to the medical profession; Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac - Medical and pharmaceutical scientist, outstanding cultural celebrity; Preserving and promoting the heritage value of the great physician Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac; Innovation in the homeland of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac.

In addition, the exhibition also has a display area of traditional medicine units to promote the medical value of Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac in medical examination and treatment.
Hai Thuong Lan Ong Le Huu Trac (1724-1791) is one of the greatest physicians in Vietnamese history, not only because of his great contributions to traditional medicine, but also because of his noble moral thoughts, pure lifestyle and great personality.
He is not only known as a talented physician, but also a thinker, writer, poet and a world cultural celebrity.
With the enormous medical legacy he left behind, Le Huu Trac made an important contribution to the development of Vietnamese medicine and shaped the basic principles of traditional medicine.
