Beautycare Expo 2024 features over 250 booths from suppliers across various countries and territories, including numerous exhibitors from leading beauty industry nations such as Germany, the Netherlands, Morocco, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and China. Many cosmetics and food products containing natural ingredients from herbs and medicinal plants such as ginseng, turmeric, mushrooms, algae, and cordyceps, formulated using new technologies, attracted significant visitor interest. Beauty industry equipment was also showcased and introduced by various companies, offering visitors hands-on experience and opportunities to find distribution partners in Vietnam.
Within the framework of the exhibition, an online forum themed "The Beauty Industry Market in 2024: Turning Challenges into Opportunities for Breakthrough Sustainable Growth" was organized by the Vietnam Association of Natural Products Science, with the participation of representatives from the Drug Administration of Vietnam ( Ministry of Health ) and related units. Representatives from the Ministry of Health provided information on current policies and laws related to the beauty industry and answered questions regarding licensing issues faced by businesses.
According to the Drug Administration, cosmetics are products that directly affect the health of users. The Administration and the local management and supervision system continuously take samples for testing, assess quality, and promptly recall or warn about substandard cosmetics.
