Exhibition of 21 outstanding educational models in Vietnam today

These 21 excellent educational models were exhibited at the workshop "Lighting the Fire to Move Forward" organized by the EdulightenUp Network of Borderless Education Managers in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Development of Educational Management on March 29-30, 2025. These new educational models are a demonstration of practical educational models, innovative ideas and typical case studies from pioneering schools in educational innovation.

Specifically, the 21 excellent education models are as follows:

1. New Zealand Aviation College - AESC – Career experience in aviation business

Coming to AESC, students have the opportunity to be exposed to advanced aviation technology through practical career guidance models at enterprises. Not only do they learn theory, they also get to touch aircraft components, directly observe aircraft maintenance and operation processes, and explore future career opportunities in this field.

2. FPT High School System - Popularizing AI, opening the door to the digital future

FPT Schools brings Day of AI, a collaborative initiative with MIT RAISE to help thousands of Vietnamese students master AI. Not only stopping at theory, students can directly program, interact with AI and apply AI to serve life. From here, a young generation is not only ready to enter the AI era but also pioneers to lead and create the digital future.

3. Van Canh Secondary School (Hanoi) – Bringing cultural heritage into the classroom

Van Canh Secondary School has brought Hoai Duc cultural heritage into education, opening classes that are deeply connected to local culture. Here, students not only learn about history and tradition but also nurture the awareness of preserving and spreading cultural values right from when they are still in school.

4. Green Learning Station (CCD) – Learning to do, learning to create

Not only providing rich learning experiences, Green Learning Station aims at sustainable education through sustainable career guidance models and practical startup projects. When coming to Green Learning Station, students can participate in practical activities, develop creative thinking and practice skills through community projects.

5. Vo Thanh Trinh High School – Technology & AI in sustainable education

As one of the pioneers in applying technology and AI in teaching and management, Vo Thanh Trinh High School helps students approach the digital transformation trend. From learning management to career guidance and 21st century skills development, the school equips students with a solid foundation to meet the demands of the world in the future.

6. Genesis Secondary School Hanoi - Sustainable ecological school model

At Genesis Hanoi, students not only have access to quality education but also practice SDGs (sustainable development goals), participate in green projects, start sustainable businesses and become responsible citizens for the environment. These activities have created an educational ecosystem that inspires a generation of citizens who live green, think green and act green.

7. Phenikaa Inter-level School – When science serves life

A more sustainable world starts with classroom experiments! Students at Phenikaa school turn fish scales into collagen, cornstarch into bioplastic, creating highly applicable scientific products. This is not only an excellent STEM initiative but also a practical lesson in environmental responsibility, turning knowledge into practical action for sustainable living.

8. Pham Ngu Lao High School – Forging courage, creating the mindset of future entrepreneurs

As a pioneer high school in developing entrepreneurial capacity and orienting entrepreneurial thinking, Pham Ngu Lao combines the high school curriculum with a practical training model. Students are mentored directly by CEOs and entrepreneurs through the Intellectual Entrepreneurship Club, participate in business projects and have the opportunity to master entrepreneurial thinking from the age of 15.

9. Nguyen Hue High School (Yen Bai) – Eco-school “Green, identity and happiness”

As a school that nurtures identity and connects with nature; at Nguyen Hue High School, students not only acquire knowledge but also learn how to conserve nature, develop community projects and green startups. This model helps students develop comprehensively in terms of awareness, skills and responsibility in building their homeland Yen Bai.

10. TIMES – Times Books accompany the journey of lifelong learning

Not only a publisher, TIMES opens a book tour connecting experts, where students not only read books but also have conversations with great thinkers. This meaningful journey not only promotes reading culture but also inspires lifelong learning, helping the young generation confidently step into the future.

11. Iris Thai Nguyen School – Turning local heritage into creative learning opportunities

In Thai Nguyen, Iris School has exploited the tea tree - the pride of this land - into experiential educational activities, where students not only learn about the production process but also research and create unique tea-based products such as: I-REVIVE anti-aging essence, I-RECY product set from green tea leaves.

12. Alpha Education System - Effective career guidance with parental support

Alpha School not only focuses on career guidance but also builds an ecosystem where parents become "career counselors". Students are connected with businesses, universities and real-life career opportunities right from their school days.

13. Bang Ca Primary and Secondary School – Preserving and spreading the cultural identity of the Dao ethnic group

Located in the middle of a land rich in tradition in Ha Long, Bang Ca Primary and Secondary School is a pioneer in bringing Dao ethnic culture into educational activities. Through experiential activities, extracurricular activities and scientific research, students not only learn about customs and practices but also directly participate in preserving and promoting heritage. The school also cooperates with the community to spread cultural values into life, contributing to the development of local tourism. Here, each student becomes a "cultural ambassador", proudly introducing the identity of their homeland to friends from all over.

14. Brendon Elementary School – Breakthrough in teaching, conquering technology

Brendon Primary School pioneered the application of technology in teaching with the initiative "Breakthrough teaching - Conquer technology" by bringing Hisense smart interactive screens into the classroom. Not only simply supporting projection, this technology helps teachers innovate teaching methods, personalize content and enhance real-life experiences for students.

16. Hoi Hop B Primary School – Cultivating good habits, building a happy school

At Hoi Hop B Primary School, every day at school is a happy day, where students acquire knowledge and practice positive habits, creating a foundation for sustainable development. With the initiative "Creating good habits for teachers and students - One of the contents of creating a happy school", the school implements many meaningful activities such as the daily reading program and sports such as Shuffle Dance, walking, and soccer.

17. BlueSky – Learning through experience, connecting without borders!

BlueSky opens up experiential learning journeys, helping students not only practice skills but also orient their future from practice. BlueSky brings “Greentech Symposium” which is not simply a speech contest, but also a miniature business model, helping students try out many roles, work in groups and explore green technology associated with sustainable development. Each experience helps students step out into the world with an open mind, connecting knowledge and being ready to integrate.

18. Le Dinh Chinh Primary School – A happy school in the middle of the Central Highlands

In the mountains of the Central Highlands, where more than 40% of students are Ede, Le Dinh Chinh Primary School has become a model of a happy school under the leadership of Ms. Truong Thi Hai Yen, a creative manager and pioneer in applying AI in education. The school not only ensures 100% student attendance, but also innovates education with STEM initiatives.

In particular, the "Solar House" project helps students apply solar energy to illuminate schoolyards and village roads, encouraging scientific thinking and environmental protection. With the "Happy School" and "Smart School" models, Le Dinh Chinh is creating an innovative learning environment where each student is inspired and develops comprehensively.

19. SIB Network – Nurturing a sustainable future

SIB Network is a pioneer in social impact business education, helping students aged 6-17 develop sustainable thinking through real-life experiences. With the Healing Nature platform, students participate in recycling activities, green innovation, community connection, and integrate the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into their learning. Bringing experiences from green parks to organic farms, SIB Network helps children take action for the environment and become responsible global citizens.

20. InterEdu Education Organization – Shaping the future of education with AI

InterEdu brings the initiative “The Future of Education in the Age of AI”, focusing on improving digital capacity for teachers, students and schools through Microsoft Education programs. With the support of the Vietnam Innovative Educator Foundation (VIEF), the Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert (MIEE) team and the Microsoft Showcase School Community, this initiative helps teachers apply technology effectively and supports schools in building a sustainable digital transformation roadmap.

During more than 20 years of accompanying Vietnamese education, the program has contributed to shaping the vision of digitalizing education, helping teachers master technology and bringing a creative AI playground to students, opening a new era in learning and teaching.

With the convergence of 20 pioneering initiatives, the EduLightenUp 2025 Showcase promises to be not only a meeting place for excellent educational models, but also a launching pad for innovative thinking, strong connections and inspiration.

21. Edudu Heritage Education Program: Traditional Arts

The Traditional Arts Heritage Education Program at the Vietnam Cheo Theatre, is a completely new development that reaches the young generation through diverse and creative experiential educational activities.

The program is designed for students aged 8-17. This is the first step in the journey to learn about the art of Cheo, thereby forming a love for traditional national culture.
