Deploying tasks of the Front and political organizations

This morning, September 30, Head of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Le Thi Lan Huong chaired a conference to review the work of the Front and socio-political organizations at the provincial level for 9 months, and deploy tasks for the fourth quarter of 2024. In the first 9 months of 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at the provincial level have closely followed the policies, resolutions and conclusions of the Party, the State, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to continue to advise on strengthening innovation in the content and methods of operation in performing functions and tasks; focusing on propaganda and mobilizing union members, workers and people to actively participate in campaigns, emulation movements, programs and specific tasks in implementing socio-economic development tasks, ensuring national defense and security, building the Party and the political system.

Directing activities to the grassroots level; grasping and promptly forecasting the situation of union members, workers and people to coordinate propaganda, mobilization, explanation, persuasion, and at the same time advising and proposing to the Party Committee to direct and satisfactorily resolve the legitimate and legal aspirations of the people. Effectively mobilizing resources to encourage and support poor and disadvantaged households; organizing humanitarian and charitable activities, gratitude, and sustainable poverty reduction.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Board deployed the allocation of funding to support and match the construction of 1,425 houses under Project 197 "Mobilizing resources to implement the policy of supporting the construction of new houses for poor households in the province in the period 2022 - 2026" in the districts with a total amount of 84.2 billion VND.

Responding to the call of the superiors, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province has launched, called and mobilized support for the people of the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3. Up to now, through incomplete reports and statistics of the localities, more than 30 billion VND has been mobilized to support the people of the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of natural disasters...

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and mass organizations will continue to direct and effectively implement the Provincial Party Committee's Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress, Plan No. 157-KH/TU dated June 24, 2024 of the Provincial Party Committee to implement Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 of the Politburo on "Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress" and other key tasks.

Speaking at the meeting, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Le Thi Lan Huong acknowledged that in the past 9 months, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations have had many outstanding new activities such as increasing dialogue, meeting with businesses and people to listen to their thoughts and aspirations and promptly resolving and removing obstacles right at the grassroots level, thus contributing to stabilizing the local situation. People enthusiastically responded and participated in the province's Festival for Peace; promptly and actively supported people in the northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3...

It is recommended that in the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations continue to strengthen coordination in inspection, supervision, post-inspection - supervision, and social criticism; continue to take drastic, synchronous, unified, and effective action in propaganda and mobilization for site clearance of key projects in the province.

Focus on propaganda and mobilization of union members, workers and people of all walks of life to actively implement the three national target programs; effectively deploy winter-spring crop production; coordinate with forces, proactively participate in plans to prevent and respond to climate change; prevent natural disasters, rescue, support people's evacuation, and overcome the consequences of storms and floods. Proactively coordinate to unify content, develop a program for social supervision and criticism, and contribute ideas to Party building and government building in 2025.
