In 2023, 58/63 provincial and municipal literature and arts associations submitted works with 372 works by authors and groups of authors. As a result, 60 works won prizes (4 A prizes, 14 B prizes, 19 C prizes, 18 Encouragement prizes and 5 prizes for young authors), distributed in the following majors: Literature (22 works); Theater (2 works); Fine Arts (10 works); Music (9 works); Cinema (3 works); Photography (9 works); Dance (1 work); Folklore (4 works).
The awards for outstanding works introduced by central specialized literary and artistic associations include 9 works from 9 associations (the Vietnam Stage Artists Association has not yet considered the 2023 award, so it is not introduced).

Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department Tran Thanh Lam and Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations Do Hong Quan presented the A prize to the authors.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Associate Professor, Doctor, musician Do Hong Quan, Chairman of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, affirmed that this year's award-winning works that were published, exhibited, announced, and performed have had a widespread influence in social life. The award objectively reflects the authors' literary and artistic works and is maintained, following traditional trends. Young authors have researched and innovated, but the content and themes still closely follow life, aiming at the traditional beauty and morality of the nation.
“In the coming time, the Organizing Committee hopes to improve the professionalism and artistic quality of the authors participating in the competition, striving to bring the awards of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations on par with national awards,” Associate Professor, Doctor, musician Do Hong Quan emphasized.
At the award ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded 9 excellent works of the central specialized literary and artistic associations: "Lua May" (Dance) by choreographer - People's Artist Pham Anh Phuong (Vietnam Dance Artists Association), "Hat Vang" sows joy" (Photo series) by author Nguyen Hien Thanh (Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists), "The art of writing television drama scripts" (monograph) by Associate Professor, Dr. Do Lenh Hung Tu (Vietnam Cinema Association), "Thuy Phu" (Paint on the hood) by author Trinh Minh Tien (Vietnam Fine Arts Association), "Cultural House of Bach Son Village" (Cam Lam Commune, Con Cuong District, Nghe An Province) designed by Architect Cong Nguyen (Vietnam Association of Architects), "Inh la ve Dien Bien day" (song) by author Vuong Khon (Vietnam Association of Literature and Arts of Ethnic Minorities), "Folklore of the sea and islands of Thanh land" (collected and researched) by author Hoang Ba Tuong (Vietnam Folklore Arts Association), “Ap Bac Posture” (chorus) by author Chung Huu Phu (Vietnam Musicians Association), “Sparkling Flow” (collection of essays criticizing children's literature) by author Nguyen Thanh Tam (Vietnam Writers Association).
