The Vice President of the Vietnam Writers' Association also commented: "The number of works participating in the Association's annual awards is stable, with a fairly even distribution in the two genres of poetry and prose; theory and criticism have decreased slightly compared to previous years. The works awarded this year show the writers' mettle, each author brings a distinct mark in their writing. Many authors have reached maturity in all aspects, both in terms of philosophy and performance techniques. Some authors dare to take big steps towards mixing genres to find their own formula or break the sentence structure, renewing the language..."

Sharing about the Children's Literature Creation Campaign, Mr. Nguyen Binh Phuong said: The success is first of all in the large number of participants spread across regions, with many Vietnamese authors currently living or studying and working abroad also enthusiastically participating. The ages of participating authors are also wide, from 10-95 years old. In particular, there are many famous writers and poets and many new authors appear. In terms of content as well as form of expression, the participating works were written in a very diverse, lively, and aesthetic way with a mix of many genres, escaping the constraints of standards and stereotypes, to move towards the best and most accurate expression and communication. And there is a flourishing of the fantasy and science fiction genres....
"It can be affirmed that the first phase of the Basic Creative Movement was successful, bringing new authors with new values, contributing to enriching the souls of children and enriching literary life" - Mr. Nguyen Binh Phuong affirmed.
Winning the prose award for his work "From the sixth hour to the ninth hour", writer Nguyen Mot expressed: "Receiving this award, we feel extremely proud but also full of responsibility. We will continue to strive, continue to write meaningful stories containing the mood of life in the era we are living in to serve as a bridge between people, making the world closer and more loving. I believe that, through each page of the book, people can understand each other better, sympathize and share with each other more".

Receiving the Young Author Award for the detective work "Double Life: Living Two Lives", author Duc Anh said: "I feel extremely honored and happy to receive this award. The award has great significance in my writing process, helping me gain a new class of readers and new expectations. That has also caused many changes in my writing plans in the coming time. It can be said that the works of authors under the age of 35 like me often have themes reflecting the loneliness of youth, the confused, deadlocked ego, and not finding a way out. Therefore, if there is no breakthrough or expansion of the readership, we may still be stuck in those themes."
On this occasion, the Vietnam Writers Association also awarded the 2023 Impressive Female Writer Award to two authors, Tran Thi Truong (Hanoi) and Le Thi Kim (Ho Chi Minh City)./.
