Quang Ninh: Localities strongly improve service quality for people and businesses

Strongly spread the spirit of reform

The year 2024 witnessed the relentless efforts of localities in Quang Ninh province in enhancing competitiveness and improving the business environment. This is clearly demonstrated through the results of the Department, Sector and Local Competitiveness Index (DDCI) of the local block that has just been announced.

In the 2024 DDCI rankings, Ha Long City continued to affirm its leading position with 79.35 points. Hai Ha District also made a strong breakthrough, rising to second place with 79.12 points. Binh Lieu District maintained stability and was in the top 3 with 78.88 points. Notably, the 2024 DDCI scores of all localities in the province increased compared to 2023, showing the strong spread of the reform spirit.

Many localities have made significant efforts to improve their positions on the rankings. Dam Ha District is a typical example with an impressive growth rate from 53.52 points (in 2023) to 73.94 points (in 2024), rising from the bottom of the table to 9th place. Hai Ha District also showed remarkable progress when it increased from 69.09 points to 79.12 points. Similarly, Tien Yen District also had a significant growth rate from 62.86 points to 74.34 points. The success story of Dong Trieu City and Quang Yen Town from 2023 will continue in 2024, affirming their perseverance and determination in reform work.

Towards a more transparent and favorable business environment

These results are not just numbers, but also evidence of the initiative and creativity of each locality in implementing solutions to improve the quality of service for businesses and people. Districts, towns and cities have actively listened to and resolved difficulties for businesses, creating favorable conditions for production and business activities.

In addition to the efforts of each locality, the drastic and synchronous mechanisms, policies and solutions of Quang Ninh province over the past time have played a key role in creating a synchronous and effective reform environment.

According to Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Quang Ninh Provincial Investment Promotion and Support Board, the 2024 DDCI results show that no locality is allowed to be complacent. The breakthrough of the lower-ranking localities is a driving force for all to work together to make greater efforts. The province will continue to create conditions and support localities in improving the quality of management, towards a more transparent and favorable business environment.

The results of the announcement of the DDCI, PAR INDEX, SIPAS, DGI, DTI indexes in 2024 continued to show the determination to be one of the leading localities in the country in administrative reform and improving the business environment of Quang Ninh.

The synchronous efforts from the provincial to the grassroots levels, the spirit of learning and the high determination of the authorities at all levels have created positive and encouraging changes. It is expected that in the coming years, Quang Ninh will continue to maintain this reform momentum, constantly improve the administrative apparatus, enhance competitiveness, and create a solid foundation for sustainable socio -economic development.
