This year, the whole country has 74 delegations with 149 projects participating in the competition. The competition is jointly organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Central Youth Union, and the Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technical Creativity.

The research areas chosen by the students are quite diverse, many topics have content and methods suitable for practice. Some topics have approached big problems, are general, highly technical, and are carried out in modern laboratories. In particular, many projects approach the application of artificial intelligence.

This year’s topics were also prepared more elaborately and in accordance with the procedures of a scientific project for the competition. Among them, there were projects that gathered unique scientific ideas with high scientific content. In particular, the students’ report presentation skills were very clear and confident. Many students had good knowledge and understanding in the research field.

This is a testament to the learning, research and reference of scientific documents both domestically and internationally. Some students also demonstrated their foreign language skills when presenting and answering questions fluently in English. This shows that Vietnamese projects are confident enough to participate in the international competition taking place in the United States in the near future.

The Ministry of Education and Training also launched and awarded the flag to host the National Science and Technology Competition for high school students in the 2024-2025 school year to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training.
