On the evening of June 25, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won a thrilling 3-2 victory over host Indonesia to win the 2023 Asian Challenge Volleyball Cup. Immediately after the victory, captain Tran Thi Thanh Thuy expressed her joy when she and the Vietnamese volleyball team won a ticket to the World Challenge Volleyball Cup taking place in France next July.

Tran Thi Thanh Thuy was not at her best in the final match, but she still proved her leadership role, having shining moments to help the Vietnamese women's volleyball team overcome difficulties against Indonesia. This 1.93 m tall spiker was honored with two individual titles: Best Player of the Tournament and Best Striker.

In addition to Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team also has Dinh Thi Tra Giang winning the title of Best Middle Blocker, and Doan Thi Lam Oanh winning the title of Best Setter of the 2023 Asian Challenge Volleyball Cup.

After the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won the impressive championship title, the Vietnam Volleyball Federation promptly encouraged them with a reward of 200 million VND. A sponsor also rewarded Tran Thi Thanh Thuy and her teammates with 200 million VND. Thus, the total "hot bonus" that coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team received for winning the 2023 Asian Challenge Volleyball Cup was 400 million VND. Coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet said that immediately after returning home, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team had to quickly complete the procedures to be in time to go to France to compete in the World Challenge Volleyball Cup in July.
