Tonight, September 27, Ninh Binh Club won 3-1 against Kazakhstan's volleyball team, Kuanysh (25-23, 27-25, 18-25, 25-22) in the semi-finals of the 2024 Asian Women's Club Championship.
Bich Tuyen, along with Le Thanh Thuy and foreign player Warisara, shone to help Ninh Binh Club win an important victory to get a ticket to the final.
According to the Asian Volleyball Federation's homepage, Bich Tuyen scored 35 points in this match. This is also the highest score that an athlete has scored in a match in this tournament.
According to the rules, the top two teams of the tournament will qualify for the 2024 Women's Club World Championship taking place in China in December this year.
Ninh Binh is one of eight volleyball teams participating in the tournament, along with Vero Volley Milano (Italy), Imoco Conegliano (Italy), Gerdau/Minas (Brazil), Praia Clube (Brazil), Zamalek SC (Egypt) and NEC Red Rockets Kawasaki (Japan). The remaining spot for the host China has not yet been determined.

This is the first time in history that Ninh Binh Club has entered the finals of the Asian Women's Club Championship as well as won a ticket to the World Championship.
Previously, in 2023, Vietnam's Sport Center 1 Club won the Asian Women's Club Championship, thereby winning a ticket to the world tournament. However, Sport Center 1 is actually the Vietnamese women's volleyball team.
This year, Vietnamese volleyball team won tickets to participate in 3 world-level tournaments. Previously, the Vietnamese women's volleyball team won tickets to the 2025 World Championship. In addition, the Vietnamese women's U20 team won tickets to the 2025 U21 World Cup.
LPBank Ninh Binh Club's opponent in the final of the 2024 Asian Women's Club Championship is the Japanese champion, NEC Red Rockets. In the group stage, the Japanese club defeated LPBank Ninh Binh 3-0. The final match will take place on September 29.
Another representative of Vietnamese volleyball, Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals, will play the 5th-6th place match with the Philippines' Monolith Sky Risers club on September 28.
