Recently, students from Dong Khoi Secondary School (District 1), Kim Dong Secondary School (District 5), Ha Huy Tap Secondary School (Binh Thanh District), Vo Van Kiet High School (District 8), Hong Bang Secondary School (District 5), Binh Tri Dong Secondary School (Binh Tan District), Ernst Thälmann High School (District 1), Practice High School - Ho Chi Minh City University of Education... had a field trip to Acecook Vietnam Noodle Factory.
Practice many skills
During the factory tour, students were given a brief introduction to the formation process and important milestones in the development journey of Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company.
You will learn about the ingredients used to make a package of instant noodles, see the production line, enjoy new noodle products and answer questions to receive gifts.
Through that, students understand that the company's expansion of factories in provinces and cities helps increase productivity, facilitate transportation, and calculate development plans for 20 years or more.
Children also know the 5 ingredients in a noodle package such as: packaging, noodle block, spices, dried vegetables, oil packet; know the yellow color of noodles from turmeric powder, and can distinguish between fried noodles or not.
Nguyen Dang Duc (9th grade student at Dong Khoi Secondary School, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) said he felt happy and nervous when going to the big factory.
"I learned more about different types of noodles, ingredients, and how to distinguish between fried and non-fried noodles. In addition, the production model is very elaborate and meticulous. Through the field trip, I was able to open up, learn many things in life, and practice many skills such as making friends, communicating, observing, and listening...
I shaped my future career when I saw the work of my seniors in the factory. At my age, I really like to go on field trips and experience things, so I hope to have more trips like this" - Dang Duc confided.
Tran Song Minh Thy (student of Ernst Thälmann High School, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) shared: "This is the first time I have been on a field trip, I am nervous and quite excited. In the class, many students have misunderstood about instant noodles, so when I go on a field trip, I change my mind and will explain it to my friends.
The field trip helped me confidently explore and open up more about myself. I hope there will be more useful trips like this."

Every profession is good and noble
Originally a child actor, Huynh Gia Huy (student of Dong Khoi Secondary School, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) shared: "I was surprised by the factory's production process, which has to go through many stages before reaching the hands of users. I really appreciate the work of the people who make the products.
I have practiced patience, social skills, and learned how to cooperate and work in groups. When a person does a job, it takes a lot of effort to produce a finished product. It shows me that every profession is good and noble and we must know how to appreciate it."
Kim Ngan (student of Binh Tri Dong Secondary School, Binh Tan District) shared: "After the trip, I realized that the ingredients of the noodles are safe to use, so I feel secure using them. I learned that instant noodles are very convenient for people's lives, useful in shortening the time to prepare daily meals, have good ingredients and provide enough energy for people."
Ms. Vu Thi Thuy Nga - teacher at Dong Khoi Secondary School, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City - said that the students were all curious, eager and arrived early to wait for the tour.
"I led 32 outstanding students from grades 8 and 9. This class is calmer, wants to explore, experience and is suitable for career-oriented experiential subjects.
"You will experience practical knowledge, understand more about the technology of making products, and have your questions answered. In addition, you will also be able to orient yourself to the right perceptions," said Ms. Thuy Nga.
Ms. Nga also said that in the 9th grade program, there are career orientation and experience activities for students. Through these trips, students can orient and have an objective view of their future careers.
More travel experiences
Ms. Tran Thi Ngoc Trinh - student manager at Vo Van Kiet High School, District 8, Ho Chi Minh City - commented that this is a useful activity for students.
"This field trip is like an experiential lesson in the new program, so the students really like it and are excited. They hope to visit the factory more often and hope to learn about the company's recruitment.
"Students get to experience and see the work directly to get a feel for the profession. I strongly support programs like this, so that students can experience more at other companies to learn more working skills," said Ms. Trinh.
