On the morning of January 13, the State Bank of Vietnam, Tien Giang Province Branch, in coordination with the People's Committee of Go Cong City, organized the launching ceremony of the cashless payment route in Go Cong City.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Gian Ba Huynh, Chairman of Go Cong City People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Nhut, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Tien Giang Province Branch; and representatives of commercial banks and transaction offices in Go Cong City.
At the launch, cashless payment was promoted to people, shop owners, business households, and enterprises on the streets in Go Cong City, including: Truong Dinh, Vo Duy Linh, Dong Khoi, Hai Ba Trung, Nguyen Trai, Nguyen Hue, Tran Hung Dao, Phan Dinh Phung, Phan Chu Trinh, Phan Boi Chau, Rach Gam, Le Loi, Thu Khoa Huan, Le Thi Hong Gam, and Luu Thi Dung.
The cashless payment route model is not only a modern payment method but also a testament to digital transformation in Go Cong City. This program has also received consensus and strong support from local authorities and commercial banks. Banks have deployed many technical solutions to support people and businesses to participate in the modern payment system, creating a solid foundation for the development of the digital economy in Go Cong City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhut, Deputy Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Tien Giang branch, emphasized the importance of promoting non-cash payments, which not only helps reduce costs and time for society but also contributes to modernizing the payment system. The model of non-cash payment routes has been successful in My Tho city and is expected to continue to spread to other areas in Tien Giang province. At the same time, this is an opportunity for people to experience and use modern payment methods in their lives and trading activities, gradually changing people's habits and awareness of the benefits of non-cash payments, contributing to building digital government, digital economy and digital society.
