Within the framework of the Vietnam Export Fair in Ho Chi Minh City (Ho Chi Minh City Export 2025), taking place from March 27-29, 2025, HCACS under the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, TRIDGE and Vietnam Multi-channel Trade Promotion Joint Stock Company (TOPVN) signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, opening a new trade door for the import and export of Vietnamese agricultural and food products.
Ho Chi Minh City Export 2025 - Vietnam's Outstanding Export Fair organized by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee in coordination with the Ministry of Industry and Trade is a gathering place for Vietnam's leading prestigious export enterprises and will take place at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC, Ho Chi Minh City).
Ho Chi Minh City Export 2025 is a large-scale event with more than 1,000 booths, gathering leading manufacturing and exporting enterprises in Vietnam, foreign-invested enterprises in Vietnam, trade promotion centers of provinces and cities, and industry associations in the top key export industries of Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, the Fair also attracts nearly 200 international buyers, promotion organizations, and enterprises from China, Korea, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the United States, Japan, etc.
In his opening speech, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - Nguyen Van Dung said that this year's fair focuses on criteria including encouraging green exports, boosting production and export of environmentally friendly products that meet international standards; promoting digital transformation in trade, applying AI, e-commerce to optimize distribution channels and access the market faster.
At the same time, orienting exports to large markets; focusing on developing products with high added value, especially products such as bird's nest, ginseng, medicinal herbs and high-end processed foods.
Also at the event, HCACS, TRIDGE and TOPVN signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation, opening the door to trade, promoting the export of agricultural and food products through digital data platforms and global B2B supply chains.
Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of HCACS, there was Mr. Pham Quang Hoi - Director in charge of the Center.
On behalf of TRIDGE Group, there is Mr. Luis Jhung - Business Development Director.
Also attending the event was Mr. Tran Dinh Toan - CEO of TOPVN, Vice President of OSB Group.
In addition, the signing ceremony was also witnessed by leaders of Ho Chi Minh City, representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, local leaders and the event organizing committee.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Pham Quang Hoi said that the export and import potential of Ho Chi Minh City is still one of the untapped strengths. Ho Chi Minh City needs "springboards" of advanced e-commerce solutions from reputable domestic and foreign partners to fully exploit the export and import potential of the region. Based on that, cooperation, connection and training of e-commerce personnel are essential to promote the city's export and import turnover.
As a strategic partner of Tridge in Vietnam, TOPVN has been implementing cooperation programs to support Vietnamese agricultural and food enterprises to boost exports globally. According to Mr. Tran Dinh Toan, the import and export activities of agricultural and food products of the city in particular and of Vietnam in general need to be constantly strengthened and innovated to ensure that they meet the requirements of the most demanding markets.
“We believe that the combination of HCACS, TRIDGE and TOPVN will bring great benefits to agricultural and food enterprises in and outside Ho Chi Minh City, helping them access international markets more conveniently and effectively,” said Mr. Toan.
At the event, the parties also emphasized the importance of applying Multi-channel e-commerce in business, especially for agricultural and food products that have traditionally been exported. In addition, the parties also highly appreciated that cooperation will open up new opportunities, help businesses in the industry access global markets more effectively and promote sustainable growth.
Accordingly, the main contents of cooperation include:
- Cooperate in implementing business support solutions, promoting the application of technology and e-commerce in the business community.
- Support connection with domestic agencies, business units, associations, unions and organizations.
- Coordinate the implementation of training programs to raise awareness for enterprises exporting and importing agricultural and food products in Ho Chi Minh City in general and the city's e-commerce resources; at the same time, co-organize events, projects, and activities related to import and export via the TRIDGE e-commerce platform.
The signing ceremony was a great success, marking the strategic cooperation between HCACS, TRIDGE and TOPVN in connecting and applying advanced and optimal solutions to promote the export and import of agricultural and food products in the country.
The cooperation also opens up new directions in providing training courses and organizing related events to develop the capacity of Ho Chi Minh City's e-commerce human resources on digital platforms.
