On the afternoon of September 2, the National Concert "What remains forever" 2023 took place at the Hanoi Opera House. In the sacred atmosphere of Independence Day, the program expressed gratitude to previous generations, cherished the peace of the present and hoped for the country's development in the future.

The program is conducted by conductor Dong Quang Vinh, with the participation of singers in the field of classical chamber music such as: Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, Pham Thu Ha, Do To Hoa, Pham Khanh Ngoc, Dao Mac, Tung Duong, Oplus group with Vietnam Symphony Orchestra, Kosmos Opera Choir and two solo artists playing traditional instruments (Meritorious Artist Le Giang playing monochord) and jazz (saxophonist An Tran).

The National Concert " What Remains Forever " 2023 began with the flag-raising ceremony. In the emotional and sacred moment of National Day, September 2, the song "Tien Quan Ca" resounded proudly in the Opera House auditorium, expressing the patriotism and national pride of the Vietnamese people.

The concert opened with the work Spring of the Century Overture (composed by Hoang Cuong) performed by the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and conductor Dong Quang Vinh.

Next are two immortal works by musician Van Cao, Dan chim Viet and Cung zither dat nuoc , performed by singer Pham Thu Ha, with the playing of Meritorious Artist Le Giang and the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and conductor Dong Quang Vinh. Then comes the epic song Len ngan by musician Hoang Viet, sung by singer Pham Khanh Ngoc.

The works selected in the program are imbued with national values ​​through the use of folk music and traditional instruments to convey the message of "returning to the roots" to music lovers.

The new highlight of What Remains Forever 2023 is the appearance of young faces, including saxophone artist An Tran - daughter of artist Tran Manh Tuan.

An Tran performed the song "Mother loves her child" by musician Nguyen Van Ty, expressing the sacred motherly love combined with the emotional desire for peace and love for the country. Saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan was also present in the Opera House auditorium to enjoy his daughter's performance.

In the colorful musical picture that the program depicts, there are images of the heroic days of the war for independence, there is love between couples giving wings to love for the country, there is a spirit of unity to overcome difficult times.

The spirit of solidarity, love for the homeland, love for the army and the people is conveyed through the voice of Do To Hoa with the song Shadow of the Kơ Nia tree by musician Phan Huynh Dieu.

Singer Tung Duong and singer Dao Mac brought many emotions to the audience with two songs Dat Nuoc Loi Lua and Giai Melo To Quoc .

Not only recreating the mark of history in modern times, the stage of What Remains Forever 2023 is also where passion burns in the hearts of modern youth with works full of youthful energy such as Vietnamese Hearts, My Kool Vietnam.... through the joyful and bustling performance of the Oplus group.

Closing the program was the song Loving Fatherland with the harmony of Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, singers Do To Hoa, Pham Khanh Ngoc, Pham Thu Ha, Dao Mac and the performance of artists of the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and Kosmos Opera Choir.
