In the new works of two artists Do Thanh Lang and Nguyen Duc Dat, there is no perfection to be found; on the contrary, it is the unfinished things that make viewers linger longer.

Introduced at Galerie Quynh (HCMC) at the end of 2024, this time in Hanoi, the World exhibition as a draft by Do Thanh Lang and Nguyen Duc Dat was recreated in the Manzi exhibition room with adjustments and omissions corresponding to the space conditions.
Do Thanh Lang and Nguyen Duc Dat are two core members of Sao La - an independent and non-profit art group in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on bringing contemporary art closer to the public and supporting Vietnam's growing creative community.

Born in 1986, graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Fine Arts, Do Thanh Lang has a consistent theme in his artistic practice: freedom and innovation. Nguyen Duc Dat was born in 1979 in Pleiku (Gia Lai), majored in painting at the University of Florida (USA), and was the art director of Nha San art space in Hanoi. If Lang's paintings convey a sense of coldness and detachment, Dat's works are full of emotion and instinct.
The World Exhibition as a draft opens on the evening of March 14, open to the public until April 13 at Manzi Exhibition Space (2 Hang Bun, Ba Dinh District, Hanoi).
