In 2024, the Ethnic Committee advised the Provincial People's Committee to direct and successfully organize the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities at district and provincial levels, creating more trust among ethnic minorities in the leadership of the Party and State. Ethnic work and ethnic policies continue to be implemented by Party committees and authorities from the province to the grassroots level. Programs and policies for ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the 2021-2025 period are seriously implemented, with focused investment, priority given to particularly difficult areas.
The investment resources supported by ethnic programs and policies have made an important contribution to changing the face of rural mountainous areas, in the results of poverty reduction and new rural construction... The cultural and social fields have achieved many important results. Cultural institutions have received investment attention; the work of preserving and promoting the value of historical revolutionary relics and ethnic cultural heritages associated with tourism development has been implemented synchronously and effectively. Social security policies have been fully and promptly implemented. The quality of education in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the province continues to be improved.
The delegates discussed and clarified the causes of limitations, difficulties, and obstacles and proposed solutions to effectively implement policies, programs, projects, and ethnic policies in the coming time. Accordingly, in 2025, the Provincial Ethnic Committee will continue to advise on the effective implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws on ethnic affairs and ethnic policies in Tuyen Quang province.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen The Giang acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and results of the Ethnic Minority Sector and cadres working in ethnic affairs achieved in 2024. He suggested that the Provincial Ethnic Minority Committee continue to proactively advise on the effective implementation of the National Target Programs on socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in 2025.
At the same time, focus on building and developing the socio-economic situation in ethnic minority areas, continue to promote the dissemination, transfer and application of scientific and technological advances in agricultural and forestry production for ethnic minorities. Replicate household economic models in the direction of shifting the structure of crops and livestock associated with processing facilities and product consumption.
Along with that, continue to implement solutions to support the poor and near-poor to stabilize their livelihoods, develop production, create jobs, increase income, and escape poverty sustainably. Sectors and localities proactively do a good job of visiting and promptly encouraging prestigious people in ethnic minority areas and promptly encouraging and sharing with ethnic minority families facing difficult circumstances during the upcoming Lunar New Year 2025.
