Dien Bien TV - Thanks to the focus on introducing new varieties as well as increasing the application of science and technology in production, economic efficiency in agricultural production has increased significantly. Notably, people and garden owners have been moving towards safe and sustainable production.

On an area of more than 2 hectares of fruit trees, Thao Nguyen High Quality Agricultural Products Cooperative in Team 17, Thanh Xuong Commune, Dien Bien District has devoted 2/3 of the area to growing Korean peony grapes. This is a new variety grown for the first time in Dien Bien. In addition, the unit also grows other fruit trees such as apples and Thai guava.

The area for growing Korean peony grapes of Thao Nguyen High Quality Agricultural Products Cooperative is cultivated in greenhouses in an organic direction.

According to Mr. Luong Duc Son, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thao Nguyen High-Quality Agricultural Products Cooperative, in addition to selecting new varieties suitable for climate and soil conditions, the unit pays special attention to applying scientific advances in production; in which, the cooperative focuses on production in greenhouses in the direction of organic, VietGap, ensuring safety and sustainability.

For Cara Farm Vietnam Limited Liability Company, the unit has dedicated 4.5 hectares of land to grow perennial fruit trees, such as: Green-skinned grapefruit and red-fleshed orange. To have a lush green garden, for nearly 10 years the unit has always focused on care and protection, especially always ensuring strict compliance with the production process towards green, clean and sustainable; focusing on the application of technology in production, such as: Microbiological technology to compost organic fertilizer from agricultural by-products; creating biological products; using automatic irrigation systems at the right time, in the right amount, etc. Thereby helping the trees grow evenly, saving 50% of water compared to traditional irrigation methods and reducing labor costs for care.
