The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee met to give opinions on a number of socio-economic development policies.

Attending the meeting were comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches and sectors of the province. The meeting was connected online with the district and city Party Committees.

At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee gave opinions on the general planning project of the new urban area of ​​Hoa Phu (Chiem Hoa), the general planning project of the new urban area of ​​Phu Luu and the new urban area of ​​Thai Son (Ham Yen).

After listening to the consultant unit present the general planning project of the new urban areas, the Provincial Party Secretary Chau Van Lam said that these communes all have important locations with convenient connections to other communes in the region; all have potential for socio-economic development, many unique traditional cultural features, developed agricultural areas with typical products, and the ability to develop industry. Therefore, the province oriented these communes to become type V urban areas, satellite urban areas for the district town areas.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee basically agreed with the planning project. At the same time, it requested the consulting unit to continue to carefully study the connecting axes, arrange and allocate urban infrastructure of the communes to create development space, and connect conveniently with the communes in the region. On the basis of the planning, the localities complete the infrastructure according to the development orientation to become specialized areas for the production of high-quality goods, develop trade, services, tourism, and small-scale industry in accordance with the long-term orientation. The Provincial People's Committee's Executive Committee accepted the opinions at the meeting and continued to direct the completion of the project to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee also gave opinions on the investment policy for the project to renovate and repair the Conference Information Center of Tuyen Quang province; the plan to use increased revenue sources and save provincial budget expenditures in 2023; detailed allocation of the Investment Expenditure Plan from land use fee revenue and lottery revenue to implement the National Target Program on New Rural Construction in Tuyen Quang province in 2024; adjustment of the list and investment capital of Vinh Quang Secondary School, Chiem Hoa district; conversion of forest use purposes to other purposes to implement the Quang Tan Village Residential Area Project, Yen Lam commune, Ham Yen district; the policy to use career capital for the Sustainable Forestry Development Program in 2024; adjustment of the investment policy for the project to build the Cultural Tourism Village and promote the value of the Tan Trao special national historical relic; Plan to compile and publish thematic study and follow Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in 2025.
