Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh presented a book by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet as the final activity within the framework of Prime Minister Hun Manet's official visit to Vietnam. Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei Hun Manet paid an official visit to Vietnam from December 11-12 at the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. This is Mr. Hun Manet's first visit to Vietnam as Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia.

Upon arriving in Vietnam on December 11, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet attended an official welcoming ceremony chaired by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh. The two Prime Ministers held talks at the Government Office and witnessed the signing of a number of cooperation documents. The Vietnam-Cambodia cooperation documents witnessed by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet include: Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovation between the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam and the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation of Cambodia; Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry and the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce; Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam and the Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations of Cambodia. During his two-day visit to Vietnam, also on the afternoon of December 11, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet had meetings with General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Vo Van Thuong and National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue.

On December 12, Prime Minister Hun Manet and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh had an exchange with lecturers and students of the Foreign Trade University and attended the Vietnam - Cambodia Investment and Trade Promotion Forum. During the visit, on the morning of December 12, Prime Minister Hun Manet laid a wreath and visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, and laid flowers at the monument to heroic martyrs.
