According to the project, the fee collection will be carried out directly at inland ports and wharves managed by the Nha Trang Bay Management Board or collected by other units at other inland ports and wharves in the Nha Trang Bay area. The expected fee level is from 6,000 VND to 40,000 VND, applied uniformly to Vietnamese and foreign tourists traveling by inland waterways on sea areas and islands within the boundaries of Nha Trang Bay (outside the strictly protected area). Specifically, the toll routes: Inland waterway port - Hon Mieu Island 6,000 VND/person/trip; inland waterway port - Hon Tam Island, inland waterway port - Hon Tre Island Vinpearl, inland waterway port - Hon Mot Island all at 8,000 VND/person/trip; inland waterway port - Hon Mun Island 10,000 VND/person/trip; total routes 40,000 VND/person/trip.

Guests board the boat to visit Nha Trang Bay.

The project also clearly stipulates the subjects eligible for reductions and exemptions. Specifically, a 50% reduction in entrance fees is given to: Children from 6 to 16 years old; subjects receiving preferential treatment under the "cultural enjoyment preferential policy"; people in particularly disadvantaged communes as stipulated in the Government's Program 135; people with revolutionary contributions; people under social policy; students from schools in the province who go on tours and study organized by their schools. Free for: Children under 6 years old; people with disabilities; employees working at tourist attractions in Nha Trang Bay; officials, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces of units in the province who are sent on business trips to Nha Trang Bay; people and tourists swimming at the beaches and beaches along the mainland; citizens residing in Khanh Hoa.

Previously, since 2004, the Provincial People's Council has issued a resolution to collect entrance fees to Nha Trang Bay at a rate of 5,000 VND/person/trip, children under 12 years old are free. However, after that, there were opinions that collecting fees for the entire Nha Trang Bay area was too large, so in 2009, the Provincial People's Committee submitted to the Provincial People's Council a revised resolution to only collect entrance fees for visitors to Hon Mun Marine Reserve. The Provincial People's Committee's permission to collect entrance fees to Nha Trang Bay this time is to have a sustainable financial source for Nha Trang Bay management activities (a task in the Master Plan for Nha Trang Bay Restoration until 2030). It is expected that the collected fees will be more than 26.4 billion VND/year, 80% of which will be used to cover costs, ensure the apparatus, and operate the activities of Nha Trang Bay Management Board such as: Patrolling, controlling, inter-sectoral work, rescue, conservation (planting mangrove forests, regenerating aquatic resources, restoring coral reefs, etc.), mooring buoys, repairing boats, environmental surveys, collecting waste in the bay, etc.

Along with approving the project, the Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to draft the Submission and Resolution for the Provincial People's Committee to submit to the Provincial People's Council for promulgation and implementation.
