Impressive results
Not only did domestic revenue increase, land use fee revenue also grew strongly with total revenue of nearly VND 5,600 billion, an increase of 50.3% of the estimate. In addition, revenue from taxes, fees and other revenues after deducting land use fees also had a good growth with total revenue reaching more than VND 5,980 billion, reaching 123.1% of the estimate, up 9.2% compared to 2023. As one of the units that has performed well in budget collection, although it was only until August 2024, the Quynh Phu - Hung Ha Tax Department has completed the estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance with a total revenue of nearly 1,300 billion VND. By the end of 2024, the total domestic revenue implemented by the Department was 2,280 billion VND, reaching 175.4% of the estimate; of which land use fees reached more than 1,820 billion VND and revenue from taxes, fees, and other revenues reached nearly 460 billion VND.
Mr. Do Ba Khanh, Head of the Tax Department of Quynh Phu - Hung Ha area, said: To achieve the above results, from the beginning of the year, the Department has proactively developed a plan and proposed groups of solutions, focusing on reviewing, thoroughly and effectively exploiting revenue sources, paying attention to urging the collection and payment of fees and charges arising and due to the state budget; promoting the application of information technology, simplifying administrative procedures in tax management; assigning specific tasks to each tax team, each functional department and each tax officer to closely follow the locality, at the same time promoting inspection, examination, combating tax losses, enhancing debt collection by classifying tax debts according to regulations and applying appropriate urging measures; strengthening tax management for temporary basic construction activities, basic construction of private housing, e-commerce; Actively coordinate with functional agencies and People's Committees of communes and towns to strengthen collection management and urge collection and payment of land-related fees to ensure compliance with regulations...
Accompany and share difficulties with taxpayers
The results of budget collection in recent years, especially in 2024, have affirmed the effectiveness of leadership and direction of all levels, sectors and localities in the province, especially the active participation of the tax sector, which has focused its efforts and unanimously carried out the assigned tasks.
Mr. Do Hong Nam, Director of the Provincial Tax Department, said: Not only proactively implementing collection solutions to collect correctly, fully and promptly the revenues to the state budget, from the beginning of the year, the tax sector has also actively implemented support mechanisms and policies, accompanying taxpayers to overcome difficulties to fulfill their tax obligations to the state such as: reducing environmental protection tax rates on gasoline, aviation fuel... according to Resolution No. 42/2023/UBTVQH15 of the National Assembly Standing Committee; Reduce 2% of value added tax (VAT) rate for some groups of goods and services currently subject to 10% VAT rate from January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024 according to Government decrees and National Assembly resolutions... In 2024, the whole industry reduced more than 700 billion VND, extended more than 420 billion VND in tax, thereby helping businesses, business households, and individual businesses reduce difficulties and financial burdens, and have more capital to put into production and business.
Ms. Phan Thi Cham, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Bao Hung International Joint Stock Company, shared: After nearly 20 years of construction and development, the Company has made remarkable progress. During the operation, tax officials have actively supported the Company in guiding, answering difficulties and problems, promptly disseminating new tax policies, especially preferential tax policies, thereby helping the Company overcome difficulties and increasingly better fulfill its tax obligations to the state.
Administrative reform, modernization of tax management

In addition, the tax sector also actively applies information technology, modernizing tax management, such as: deploying the centralized tax management application TMS; performing tax registration, tax declaration, tax payment, tax refund by electronic means, electronic invoices, electronic invoices generated from cash registers; analyzing and classifying risks in tax refunds; standardizing personal tax code data...
Accompanying and supporting taxpayers in declaring, paying taxes, and electronic tax refunds quickly and conveniently, the Provincial Tax Department has deployed electronic tax services to serve people and businesses in declaring, paying taxes electronically, and providing electronic tax refund services; deploying the eTax Mobile application installed on smart mobile phones, allowing business individuals and business households to look up tax registration declarations anytime, anywhere on devices with internet connection, helping taxpayers easily interact with tax authorities, reduce costs and time, and complete tax obligations quickly and accurately.
