Unanimously selecting 15 works to award the Quang Tri Province Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in 2024

This morning, November 4, the Organizing Committee of the 2024 National Press Award on Party Building (Golden Hammer and Sickle Award) of Quang Tri province held a meeting to unify the selection of works for the 2024 Quang Tri Golden Hammer and Sickle Award and give opinions on contents related to the summary and award ceremony. Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Golden Hammer and Sickle Award Ho Dai Nam chaired the meeting.

There are 61 works participating in the 2024 Quang Tri Province Golden Hammer and Sickle Award, including 4 photo reports, 13 television works, 8 radio works and 36 print and electronic newspaper works.

Compared to previous years, this year's entries have increased in quantity, are rich in genre, and are diverse in participants from inside and outside the province. This continues to affirm that the Quang Tri Golden Hammer and Sickle Award has truly spread in social life, demonstrating the efforts of the Organizing Committee and the attention, direction, and response of the Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee, agencies, units, and local press agencies.

As a result, the Organizing Committee unanimously selected 15 works to award prizes, including: 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, 7 consolation prizes and 2 secondary prizes. The Organizing Committee also unanimously sent 13 works to the central competition and proposed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee award certificates of merit to the collectives of the Provincial Party Committee Organizing Committee and Quang Tri Newspaper with many achievements in organizing and participating in the 2024 competition.

In conclusion, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ho Dai Nam assessed that most of the works participating in this year's contest closely followed the theme and suggested themes oriented by the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; many works were invested elaborately, attracting the attention of readers and viewers, creating a positive effect in the propaganda work on Party building.

The success of the 2024 Golden Hammer and Sickle Award is also reflected in the diversity of genres, the richness of the contestants, and the harmonious combination of professional and non-professional writers. The entries have deeply reflected the process of building and developing the Party, creating a positive change in the awareness of cadres, party members, and people about the role of the Party, the political system, and the direction of national development.

Many works have contributed to strengthening trust, arousing aspirations for development, and at the same time contributing to improving the leadership capacity and quality of operations of the political system, towards successfully implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress. This will be the premise for the Organizing Committee of the Provincial Golden Hammer and Sickle Award to continue to develop a plan to direct and orient the organization of the 2025 award to achieve higher quality.
