Experience the Project "Love Vietnam" at Buon Don Suspension Bridge Tourist Center

The installation of NFC chip panels at historical, cultural and tourist sites across the country, contributing to the promotion and development of Vietnam's tourism, is an activity within the framework of the "Love Vietnam" project implemented by Nhan Dan Newspaper in coordination with technology partners to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

In Dak Lak province, in addition to Buon Don Suspension Bridge Tourist Center, the project is also being implemented at two other locations: Buon Ma Thuot Prison National Special Monument and Dak Lak Museum.

Located about 45km northwest of Buon Ma Thuot city, Buon Don used to be the cradle of the development of the famous hunting and taming of wild elephants throughout the country. This is also the land where many different ethnic groups live together such as Lao, Ede, M'nong, Giarai,...

Today, the ethnic groups have joined hands to build a Buon Don with diverse cultural identities, creating a unique feature that no other place has. This place is also becoming a famous tourist destination of the Central Highlands in general and Dak Lak in particular.

Coming to Buon Don Suspension Bridge Tourist Center, visitors can also walk on the suspension bridges spanning the majestic Serepok River under the hundreds of years old si trees. The suspension bridge is made entirely of bamboo, very simple, but inside it is a cable that gives visitors safety without losing the feeling of swinging when walking on the bridges.

Each chip-embedded board will provide stories, images, videos or 3D models of the location or monument where the chip-embedded board is located; at the same time, it provides search, navigation and information features to explore tourist attractions at the current location and surrounding areas.

When visitors experience all the chip-attached points in a locality, they will receive a gift from the program and a digital certificate upon completing their exploration there.

The project will also standardize the content to translate into other languages, contributing to promoting and introducing Vietnamese tourism to the world.
