Pilot model of "A mediation team with at least one lawyer"

On April 21, information from the People's Committee of Dong Nai province said that this agency has issued a Plan to pilot the model "A mediation team with at least one lawyer" in the locality where the model is being piloted.

According to the plan, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Chairman of Bien Hoa City People's Committee and Long Thanh District People's Committee to preside over the pilot implementation of the model in the area.

The Dong Nai Provincial Bar Association shall preside over and guide the implementation of membership admission procedures as well as mobilize a team of lawyers and attorneys to participate as mediators at the grassroots level. The funding for this content is provided by the state budget.

Accordingly, the goal is that by the end of 2024, 100% of mediation teams in Long Thanh district and Bien Hoa city will have at least one member of the Lawyers Association in the mediation team.

This model aims to promote the role of the team of lawyers in mediation work at the grassroots level and concretize the policy of attracting the team of lawyers to participate in mediation work at the grassroots level, increasing the number of lawyers participating in mediation teams in the area. The effective mediation model at the grassroots level contributes to improving the effectiveness of mediation work.

It is known that Dong Nai Province Lawyers Association was established in 1989. Currently, the Association's President is Mr. Phan Van Chau, with a total of about 1,385 members.
