(Chinhphu.vn) - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has just signed Decision No. 256/QD-TTg dated March 29, 2024 to complete the membership of the National Committee on Digital Transformation.
Specifically, the Prime Minister decided to add comrade Pham Duc Long, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, as a member of the National Committee on Digital Transformation, replacing comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications.
* The National Committee on Digital Transformation has the function of researching and proposing to the Government and the Prime Minister and assisting the Government and the Prime Minister in directing and coordinating the implementation of policies, strategies, mechanisms and policies to create a legal environment to promote the national digital transformation process, closely linked with administrative reform; building and developing e-Government, digital Government, digital economy, digital society and smart cities; facilitating the implementation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Vietnam.
The Committee's task is to study and propose to the Government and the Prime Minister directions and solutions to solve problems in implementing policies, strategies, mechanisms and policies to promote the national digital transformation process, closely linked with administrative reform; build and develop e-Government, digital Government, digital economy, digital society and smart cities; facilitate the implementation of the Fourth Industrial Revolution in Vietnam.
Provide opinions on strategies, programs, mechanisms, policies, projects related to digital transformation; build and develop e-Government, digital Government, digital economy, digital society and smart cities under the decision-making authority of the Government and Prime Minister.
In addition, assist the Government and the Prime Minister in directing ministries, branches and localities to implement goals, tasks and solutions for digital transformation, building and developing e-Government, digital government, digital economy, digital society and smart cities; coordinate the implementation of cross-sectoral strategies, programs, mechanisms, policies, projects, and solutions on digital transformation, building and developing e-Government, digital government, digital economy, digital society and smart cities; coordinate the general implementation of the National Digital Transformation Program; monitor and coordinate the implementation of related contents of the National Strategy on the Fourth Industrial Revolution to 2030.
Assist the Government and the Prime Minister in urging and inspecting the implementation of cross-sectoral strategies, programs, mechanisms, policies, projects, and solutions on digital transformation, building and developing e-Government, digital government, digital economy, digital society, and smart cities; urging the implementation of the National Digital Transformation Program...
