Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do emphasized: Collecting opinions from departments, branches and members of the group is an important step in building a Political Report on socio-economics in accordance with the actual conditions and development orientation of the province in the coming term. The goal is to ensure that the report serving the 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, is built accurately, comprehensively and effectively.

Delegates gave many comments on the results of implementing socio-economic targets according to the Resolution of the 14th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025. At the same time, they discussed and agreed on the socio-economic development plan and targets for the period 2025 - 2030, including 15 specific targets in 3 target groups: Economy; society and infrastructure - environment. Concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts of the office and the members of the team in drafting the report. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested continuing to complete and supplement the missing contents; the existing problems, difficulties and experiences in implementing the socio-economic tasks for the 2020-2025 term. Rearrange and remove the contents that are not close to the assessment of the situation in the coming period; review the data to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness. The sectors and fields develop reports in the direction of assessing the situation and having accompanying solutions.

Leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment gave opinions on the field of natural resources and environment.

It is recommended that the statistical agency coordinate with the Department of Planning and Investment to review and further calculate the socio-economic targets for the 2025-2030 term to ensure they are consistent with local realities.
