Thanh Hoa has a top student in block C nationwide in the 2024 high school exam

On the afternoon of July 17, Mr. Tran Van Thuc, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Thanh Hoa province, said that in the 2024 high school exam, Thanh Hoa province recorded a candidate who was the top scorer in group C nationwide with a score of 29.75.

Accordingly, the candidate who achieved the top score in the C block nationwide is To Thi Dieu, a student at Quang Xuong 4 High School (located in Quang Xuong district, Thanh Hoa province). To Thi Dieu scored 29.75 points, including 9.75 in Literature; 10 in History; and 10 in Geography.

To Thi Dieu is one of 19 valedictorians of block C nationwide in the 2024 high school exam.

According to information from Quang Xuong 4 High School, To Thi Dieu comes from a difficult family situation, her father died early, but she always strives to excel in her studies.

According to statistics, in the 2024 high school exam, the average exam score of Thanh Hoa province was 6.82, ranking 18th out of 63 provinces and cities. With this score, Thanh Hoa province increased by 3 places compared to the previous year (in 2023, it ranked 21st out of 63 provinces and cities with an average score of 6.47).

Notably, the number of candidates scoring 10 points in Thanh Hoa province rose to the top of the country (ranked 3rd in 2023).

It is known that in the 2024 high school graduation exam, Thanh Hoa province has about 39,000 candidates registered for the exam; there are nearly 1,500 independent candidates. Candidates registered for the Natural Science exam are 9,508; Social Science exam is 28,174.

Top students in block A1 of the province: There are 2 students with a total score of 28.95.

Student Nguyen Van Viet, Lam Son High School for the Gifted (Math: 9.6; Physics: 9.75; English: 9.6); Student Pham Ngoc Huy, Yen Dinh 1 High School (Math: 9.2; Physics: 9.75; English: 10.0).

Top scorer of block B of the province: Student Le Duc Dung, Nhu Thanh High School (Total score 29.1 (Math 9.6; Chemistry 9.75; Biology 9.75).

Top scorer of block D of the province: Student Le Phuong Linh, Lam Son High School for the Gifted (total score 28.5 (Math 9.2; Literature 9.5; English 9.8).
