Focus and resolutely implement tasks and solutions from the beginning of 2024

On the afternoon of January 17, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to unify a number of key contents that need to be implemented immediately, during and after the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024. The year 2024 is forecasted to continue to have many opportunities and opportunities as well as many difficulties and challenges intertwined, therefore, in order to successfully implement the goals, targets, tasks and plans for 2024, right from the first days and months of the year, departments, branches, districts and cities must uphold the responsibility of leaders, be ready to respond to all situations; promptly remove difficulties and obstacles, create conditions for businesses to stabilize and maintain production and business activities; develop plans for agencies and units to continue implementing the 2024 working theme "Responsibility - Discipline - Strengthening reform - Seizing opportunities - Breaking through to move forward"; well prepare conditions to serve people to celebrate the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin in 2024 to ensure joy, health, safety and savings in accordance with the direction of the Central and the province; Organize Tet duty assignments, direct agencies, units, organizations and enterprises in the area to proactively arrange production and business plans, implement reporting and Tet duty regimes to ensure smooth operations during the Lunar New Year.

Delegates focused on discussing and giving opinions on a number of key contents that need to be implemented immediately, during and after the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024 such as: budget collection work; giving Tet gifts to people with revolutionary contributions, the elderly, poor households, social protection beneficiaries, children in especially difficult circumstances; conference to announce provincial planning and promote investment; ceremony to launch production and business at the beginning of the year and start construction of a number of projects at the beginning of the year...

In his concluding remarks, Comrade Nguyen Khac Than, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee basically agreed with the advice of the Provincial People's Committee Office.

Regarding the task of economic development, he requested departments, branches, districts and cities to focus on and resolutely implement tasks and solutions from the beginning of 2024; focusing on promoting production development; continuing to promote investment attraction, focusing on reforming administrative procedures, urging implementation of projects that have been approved for investment; focusing on agricultural production according to approved production plans; resolutely collecting the budget from the beginning of the year, paying special attention to tax debt collection, seriously and resolutely implementing tax debt collection measures in accordance with the provisions of law, not allowing tax debts to drag on.
