Comrade Phan Van Giap: In the general context of many difficulties, but with the multifaceted attention of the province, in 2023, the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Tan Ky district directed the drastic and synchronous implementation of solutions, proactively resolved difficulties, and simultaneously implemented many development measures in various fields. Specifically, the total production value in 2023 will reach over VND 8,057 billion, up 7.2% compared to 2022, equal to 96.3% of the plan. Of which, the agriculture - forestry - fishery sector is estimated at VND 2,448 billion, up 5.6% compared to 2022 and equal to 100.1% of the plan. The industry - construction sector is estimated at over VND 3,485 billion, up 7.9% compared to 2022 and equal to 92.3% of the plan. The service sector is estimated at over VND 2,123 billion, up 7.8% compared to 2022 and equal to 98.8% of the plan.

The average GRDP value per capita reached 48.4 million VND, an increase of 5.5 million VND compared to 2022. The local budget revenue for the whole year is estimated to reach over 119 billion VND, equal to 92.52% of the plan.

The cultural and social fields continued to change positively. The quality of education continued to be maintained and improved. During the year, 4 new schools were recognized as meeting national standards, reaching 100% of the plan, and the plan to re-recognize 12/12 schools was completed. Jobs were created for 3,480/3,000 people, equal to 116% of the plan, exceeding 0.3% compared to 2022. The poverty rate decreased by 2.26% compared to 2022. The plan to build houses for the poor was well implemented, exceeding the plan, ensuring full, accurate and timely social security.

Attention has been paid to the work of organizing the apparatus and building the government. Discipline and administrative discipline have continued to be tightened. As a result, in 2023, Tan Ky district achieved and exceeded 22/25 main targets assigned by the District People's Council.

Comrade Phan Van Giap: One of the important lessons learned is to be resolute in leadership and direction. Political determination is also the key, deciding the results. Determination here is the unity of perception, way of doing and pursuit to the end of cadres and party members, first of all of leaders of departments, branches and establishments. Along with that, it is necessary to enhance the sense of responsibility in performing assigned tasks, especially of heads of agencies and units.

Resolutely deploy solutions to promote disbursement of public investment capital in 2024 and national target programs from the beginning of the year. Strengthen budgetary financial management. Continue to promote administrative reform, strongly improve the investment environment, promote digital transformation, develop the digital economy and digital society.
