SeABank honored in Fortune Southeast Asia 500 ranking

Fortune is the world's leading prestigious multinational business magazine that owns a series of prestigious rankings in the world such as: Fortune 500, Fortune Global 500 and Fortune Europe 500. In 2024, Fortune announced the first 500 Largest Enterprises in Southeast Asia (Fortune Southeast Asia 500 - Fortune SEA 500) to honor the rapid development of businesses in many fields and reflect the impressive growth rate of the Southeast Asia region.

The ranking is based on total revenue with a minimum of 460 million USD, thereby selecting 500 outstanding companies with the highest total revenue from 7 countries in the Southeast Asian region, including 70 enterprises from Vietnam. With revenue reaching 951 million USD in 2023, SeABank was honored to be ranked 40/70 in Vietnam by Fortune Magazine and ranked 287/500 largest enterprises in terms of revenue in Southeast Asia.

Being voted into the Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Southeast Asia has affirmed SeABank's position and reputation at the regional and international levels. At the same time, it shows the effectiveness of a flexible business strategy focusing on retail development, which has helped SeABank maintain stable business results in a volatile economic context. In 2023, SeABank's charter capital increased to VND 24,957 billion, and SSB shares were selected by HOSE to be included in VN30, affirming SeABank's reputation, operational efficiency and financial potential in the financial and banking market. As of December 31, 2023, SeABank is one of the 7 banks with the largest capitalization on the stock market. SeABank also continues to be rated Ba3 by Moody's for key portfolios with a Stable outlook, reflecting the agency's expectation of the Bank's high and improving capital adequacy.

Rapid growth and sustainable business operations have contributed significantly to helping SeABank gain the trust of international financial institutions with investments totaling nearly 600 million USD from many prestigious financial institutions such as IFC, DFC... to optimize the implementation of projects to promote financial inclusion for small and medium enterprises, women-owned enterprises, green projects and combat climate change.

In particular, with the achievements in recent years, SeABank was honored to receive the First Class Labor Medal from the President and was recognized by many international organizations: two consecutive years in the Top 1000 World Banks 2023, Top 100 Most Valuable Brands in Vietnam 2023, Top 100 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam... thereby recognizing SeABank's position in the finance - banking industry as well as in the Vietnamese and international markets.
