According to SCB's announcement, Bach Mai Transaction Office - Hai Ba Trung Branch, Hanoi (address: 2nd-3rd floor, 361 Bach Mai, Bach Mai ward, Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi) officially ceased operations from April 8.

This is the 47th transaction point of SCB to close and stop operating since October 2022.

In March, SCB also terminated operations at Dien Bien Phu Transaction Office - Tan Dinh Branch (No. 261-263 Dien Bien Phu Street, Ward 15, Binh Thanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

After ceasing operations at a series of transaction offices, SCB recently announced the liquidation of a series of specialized cash transport vehicles and selected a contractor to dismantle 21 advertising billboards at 16 business units.

The State Bank of Vietnam is studying the proposal of some investors to participate in restructuring SCB to soon submit to the Government a plan to restructure this bank according to regulations.

There are currently 5 banks under special control, including CBBank, OceanBank, GPBank, DongABank and SCB. Of which, SCB will be placed under special control from October 2022.
