In the first quarter of 2025, Da Nang International Airport continuously welcomed international delegations to explore the investment environment and cooperate in exploiting the logistics market and air transport services. Specifically, Da Nang International Airport recently welcomed a delegation from the Dubai National Air Travel Agency (DNATA), headquartered in Dubai (United Arab Emirates - UAE). This economic group is considered a "giant" in the global aviation services industry.

DNATA Group's business trip to Da Nang International Airport was not only to discuss promoting trade but also to discuss the development of a free trade zone in Da Nang. DNATA leaders shared that with many years of experience and great influence in the industry, DNATA will bring great opportunities to Da Nang in developing international freight services, while improving the service quality of Da Nang International Airport.

DNATA is realizing that the opening of a free trade zone will not only help Da Nang become an important logistics center but also create favorable conditions for businesses to participate in the global supply chain, including DNATA Group. Therefore, DNATA hopes that in the near future, the group and Da Nang city, specifically Da Nang International Airport, will proactively sign cooperation agreements in many areas of logistics and cargo services, first based in Da Nang city, then develop to neighboring areas of Southeast Asia in general and Asia in particular.

Through this cooperation, Da Nang International Airport can fully exploit its geographical location and infrastructure advantages to promote import and export activities, especially in the context of a strong global economic development and increasing demand for logistics services and international goods. At Da Nang International Airport, DNATA also directly surveyed the infrastructure and location of functional areas in the free trade zone in the Da Nang airport area, and assessed the potential for development cooperation between the two sides.

Previously, Da Nang International Airport also welcomed the leadership of Chubu Centrair International Airport (Japan) to share experiences, discuss solutions to improve service quality, and propose directions to maintain and bring Da Nang domestic terminal to 5-star standards according to SKYTRAX's recommendations. During the meeting, the leaders of Da Nang International Airport gave many ideas and key issues that need to be improved, especially in terms of customer experience, optimizing check-in procedures and improving service quality.

Representatives of Chubu Centrair Airport enthusiastically answered each question, shared modern management methods, and made specific suggestions to improve the terminal's operational efficiency. Experiences from Japan were assessed as very practical and could be flexibly applied to the actual conditions in Da Nang. Through the survey, the Japanese delegation highly appreciated the efforts to improve service quality at Da Nang International Airport in recent times, and proposed solutions to maintain and improve to meet terminal standards.

The visit and work of the survey team from Chubu Centrair International Airport, Japan marks an important step in the process of improving service quality at Da Nang International Airport. Learning and applying international standards to terminal operations will contribute to raising the position of Da Nang Airport on the regional and world aviation map.
