Commending creative labor of the City Social Policy Bank for the period 2020-2025

On the afternoon of April 11, the City Branch of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) held a conference to honor excellent and creative workers in the 2020-2025 period. Attending were General Director of the VBSP Duong Quyet Thang and Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh.

Speaking at the conference, General Director Duong Quyet Thang acknowledged that the patriotic emulation movements have been contributing to arousing and promoting the endogenous strength and solidarity to successfully implement the goals and tasks for the period 2020-2025 of the collective of employees of the Da Nang Branch of the Bank for Social Policies. Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the City Branch of the Bank for Social Policies needs to continue advising local Party committees and authorities at all levels to focus on leading, directing and organizing the effective implementation of Directive No. 39-CT/TW of the Secretariat on improving the effectiveness of social policy credit in the new period; advising on concretizing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws related to social policy credit into programs, plans and activities with specific goals, tasks and solutions at the local level, to successfully implement the Development Strategy of the Bank for Social Policies to 2030.

Reporting at the conference, over the past 5 years, the City Social Policy Bank Branch has received many emulation flags and certificates of merit from the central to local levels. The Director of the City Social Policy Bank Branch launched 27 emulation campaigns and awarded 258 groups and 509 individuals; recognized the title of advanced worker for 55 groups and 535 individuals.

Through emulation movements, the credit policy targets in the city in general and the branch in particular have all been achieved and exceeded the set plan, making an important contribution to ensuring social security in the city, successfully implementing the project of building a "4 safe" city. In the period of 2025-2030, the unit strives to successfully complete the following main targets: local entrusted capital reaches 50% of the total capital of the branch; average outstanding debt growth of at least 8%/year with the overdue debt ratio of less than or equal to 0.02%/total outstanding debt; developing and implementing 100% of inspection, self-inspection, and thematic inspection plans; inspection and supervision of the Board of Directors' representatives at all levels, associations and unions at all levels.

On this occasion, 3 individuals who are members of the Board of Directors of the City Social Policy Bank received certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam Social Policy Bank for their outstanding achievements contributing to the performance of the Social Policy Bank in the period of 2020-2025, namely Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh; former Director of the Department of Finance Nguyen Van Phung; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City, former Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Dang Hoang. Also at the conference, 7 collectives and 15 outstanding individuals with outstanding achievements in emulation movements in the period of 2020-2025 received certificates of merit from the Director of the Da Nang City Social Policy Bank Branch.
