Ready to open the Au Co Temple festival

One of the most anticipated Spring festivals in Ha Hoa district is the Au Co Temple Festival in Hien Luong commune, Ha Hoa district with many activities of unique historical and cultural significance. Up to now, preparations are being completed, ready to welcome people and tourists to visit and worship on the occasion of the Lunar New Year At Ty 2025.

According to the plan of the People's Committee of Ha Hoa district, this year's Au Co Temple Festival includes: The incense offering ceremony to Au Co will take place on January 24, 2025, which is December 25, the year of Giap Thin; The opening ceremony of Au Co Temple Festival and the organization of wrapping, cooking banh chung, and pounding banh giay will be held on February 3, 2025, which is January 6, the year of At Ty; The incense offering ceremony on the day of Tien Dian (main ceremony) will be on February 4, 2025, which is January 7. The difference of this year's Au Co Temple Festival is that there will be no cultural and sports activities.

These days, the Organizing Committee of the Au Co Temple Festival is actively completing the preparations, ensuring the progress and time of the festival such as: General cleaning of the entire Au Co Temple Relic Site; hanging banners and slogans; decorating with colorful flags and flowers along the road to the Relic Site and on the roads of Hien Luong Commune. At the same time, Hien Luong Commune is also urgently completing the repair of roads damaged by storm No. 3 in the commune.

The work of ensuring security and order, traffic safety; food safety and hygiene, accommodation services, restaurants, parking lots... at the festival area has also been ensured by the Organizing Committee, ready to meet the needs of the people and tourists from all over.

Officers and staff of the Au Co Temple Relic Site Management Board actively worked, cleaned, and planted flowers in the memorial garden to prepare for the Au Co Temple Festival in the Spring of At Ty 2025.

Ms. To Thi Hai Yen - Head of the Management Board of the Au Co Temple Relic Site said: In the last days of the year, the Relic Site has welcomed many groups of visitors from all over the country to worship and pay tribute to the merits of the Mother Goddess. We have also basically completed the landscaping and celebration work to make the Relic Site space airy, clean and beautiful.

As a particularly important ritual on the main day of the 7th of January of the Au Co Temple Festival, the sacrificial team of 21 young women with good looks and virtues was selected from students of Ha Hoa High School and Xuan Ang High School, Ha Hoa District. The sacrificial team is currently carrying out the sacrificial program seriously, ensuring time and progress.

Many delegations of visitors from all over the country have come to pay homage and pay tribute to the Mother Goddess before the New Year.

Phung Ngoc Anh Thu, a student of class 11A1, Ha Hoa High School, a member of the sacrificial team, said: "I am very honored and proud to be selected as a member of the sacrificial team in the Au Co Temple Festival in the year of At Ty 2025. We are currently practicing actively under the guidance of our teachers to complete the solemn and respectful ceremony to show gratitude to the Mother Goddess."

In recent years, Ha Hoa district has focused all resources on renovating and embellishing relics, managing well the annual festival activities, renovating the landscape and grounds, investing in completing the infrastructure of the relic site, expanding the parking lot, access road, and souvenir tree planting area; building standard public toilets to serve tourists; opening booths to promote tourism products at the Au Co Temple Festival, maintaining information booths and selling products in the Temple area; building a souvenir house to display and promote Ha Hoa's products...

Now, everything is ready for a civilized and safe festival season, contributing to beautifying and promoting the cultural beauty of the early Spring festival in the Ancestral Land.
