Accordingly, trade infrastructure in urban areas is modernized, applying digital technology in management, exploitation and operation. In rural areas, essential trade infrastructure is fully developed, effectively serving business activities and people's living needs.

To date, the province has 4 shopping malls, 16 supermarkets, 58 Winmart+ stores; in addition, there are many specialized stores and convenience stores operating according to modern models. There are also 197 markets in the province, including 3 class I markets, 13 class II markets and 181 class III markets. The average value of goods passing through the market accounts for about 35-40%, contributing to the consumption of goods, promoting production, and serving people's lives.

Viet Tri City is an area with vibrant commercial activities with 3 commercial centers, 8 supermarkets, 32 Winmart+ stores and 18 markets, of which 2 markets are managed by enterprises and 16 markets are managed by the People's Committees of communes and wards. Currently, the markets: Bach Hac, Nong Trang, Duu Lau, Tan Dan are being surveyed, researched and invested in by investors. In order to contribute to the development of trade and services, improve the quality of life for people, the city has created favorable conditions for economic sectors to participate in investment, business and production in the area; encourage households with houses on the street, near the market to invest, expand business lines, trade with diverse types. Thanks to that, in the city, goods are guaranteed to circulate, prices are stable and gradually form modern civilized trading habits among residents.

In fact, the types of commerce in the province are increasingly developing in a modern direction, increasing convenience, saving time, and ensuring safety in shopping. The synchronous development of commerce has contributed to economic development in each locality, creating jobs, and improving the quality of life for people. In 2024, the total retail sales of goods and social consumer service revenue of the province will reach over 57,000 billion VND, an increase of 12.9% over the same period.

In the coming time, the province will continue to improve the commercial infrastructure, contributing to consolidating and improving the business environment, promoting the development of production and business activities, meeting the consumption needs of the people, actively contributing to the economic growth of the province; promulgating many mechanisms and policies to encourage investment in developing modern commercial infrastructure, creating conditions for economic sectors to participate in business and invest in commercial infrastructure, especially in remote areas, mountainous areas of the province. At the same time, the province will focus on the reasonable distribution of market networks, modern commercial infrastructure, warehouse systems, and gas stations in districts, cities, and towns to fully and promptly meet the production and consumption needs of the people. Strengthening state management, creating motivation for domestic enterprises to participate in stabilizing market prices; building a civilized and modern commercial foundation associated with protecting the interests of enterprises, the rights and health of consumers.
