Preparations for the 6th Ha Tinh Orange and Agricultural Products Festival have been basically completed, ready for the opening ceremony tonight (November 24).

Tran Phu Square (Ha Tinh City) has become more bustling in recent days as relevant units are busy preparing booths and setting up stages for the orange and agricultural product festival of the province. Around the square, banners promoting the orange festival have also been hung to help promote and spread the event.
Mr. Nguyen Van Cam - Director of Vinh Cam VKMEC Advertising and Event Organization Company Limited (Ha Tinh City) said: "As the unit undertaking the construction of infrastructure items for the festival, over the past 10 days, we have mobilized human and material resources to work, complete the construction of the infrastructure of booths, stages, and festival gate decorations to hand over to the Department of Industry and Trade on schedule".
Tien Giap ham facility prepares products for the orange festival.
The most important factor of the festival is the products. To participate in the festival, at this time, businesses, cooperatives, cooperative groups, and production facilities have proactively prepared enough goods to bring the best quality products to introduce to consumers.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Giap - owner of Tien Giap pork roll facility (Huong Khe town) said: "The facility has prepared 300 kg of pork roll, 100 kg of cartilage sausage, 100 kg of sausage and many other products to bring to the festival. This morning, we brought the products to decorate the booth and display the products."
“This year, we bring to the festival products such as oranges, organic squash, and molasses. By choosing the best products to bring to the festival, we hope to continue promoting our products to consumers, thereby expanding the consumption market,” said Mr. Doan Quoc Hoai - Director of Hoai Luan Private Enterprise (Vu Quang).
The products have been prepared by the people for the orange festival taking place on the evening of November 24.
According to information from the Department of Industry and Trade, this year's orange festival, localities and units have registered over 100 booths, of which many localities have a large number of booths such as: Thach Ha 10 booths, Huong Son 10 booths, Cam Xuyen 8 booths, Can Loc 6 booths...
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - specialist of the Economic Infrastructure Department, Thach Ha District People's Committee said: "This year's Orange Festival, Thach Ha District registered to participate with 10 booths displaying products from 11 establishments in the area. These specialties have high consumption in the domestic and foreign markets such as fish sauce, dried seafood, brown rice tea, rice, fresh mushrooms, rice vermicelli, sim wine, ram cake, bird's nest, jellyfish... Most of them are products certified as typical rural industries at all levels, OCOP products. Currently, the establishments have fully prepared goods to bring to the festival".
In addition to the province's typical products, this year the festival also has booths from Co.opmart Ha Tinh supermarket introducing Vietnamese products, contributing to spreading the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese products" and booths from the Department of Information and Communications introducing digital transformation products.
Banners promoting the orange festival are hung on the streets, contributing to promoting and spreading the event.
Mr. Truong Van Thuan - Director of the Provincial Center for Industrial Promotion and Trade Promotion (Department of Industry and Trade) said: To prepare for the Ha Tinh orange and agricultural product festival, since the beginning of November, the Department of Industry and Trade has notified and urged units and localities to list booths and product categories; select event organizers to build booths and work with related units to prepare the site, ensuring safety and order.
“Since November 20, the unit has also hung banners and pennants on the city’s main streets to promote the festival and the event through media channels and social networks. This morning, we handed over booths to localities to display goods, welcome people and tourists to visit and prepare for the opening ceremony tonight,” Mr. Thuan added.
