(kontumtv.vn) – Up to now, the whole province has more than 4,300 hectares of cold-climate coffee, of which the harvested coffee area is more than 2,900 hectares, yielding more than 4,670 tons with a yield of nearly 16 quintals/ha.

In Kon Tum province, cold-climate coffee is grown mainly in 03 localities including Dak Glei, Tu Mo Rong, Kon Plong; in which, Dak Glei district leads the province in terms of cold-climate coffee area in the business stage with 1,200 hectares, output reaching 1,860 tons. Compared to before, the productivity and output of cold-climate coffee in these 03 localities have increased but not significantly, not commensurate with the potential and strengths of soil and weather in developing this crop. In 2025, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the target of planting 1,000 hectares of new cold-climate coffee to the localities; striving to increase the yield to 18 - 20 quintals/ha./.
