Here, Saigontourist Group authorized Saigontourist Travel Service Company (Saigontourist Travel) and Vietnam Airlines to sign important cooperation agreements with Chinese partners. Accordingly, the two units signed a cooperation agreement with Shanghai Boxi Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. and

Beijing Cosmo Travel International Co.LTD. The parties cooperate on charter flights provided by Vietnam Airlines; car rental to customers; cooperation in organizing events, festivals, tourism fairs in Vietnam and China... It is expected that 5 years of cooperation will bring revenue to the units of 300 million USD.

Mr. Pham Huy Binh, Chairman of Saigontourist Group, said that in this program to launch Vietnamese destinations in the Chinese market, the group focuses on connecting and developing two-way tourism and services between Vietnam and China. "In particular, we exploit the opportunity to connect and expand the luxury and MICE tourist segments in the billion-people market," he clarified.

Following Mr. Binh, Mr. Dang Ngoc Hoa, Chairman of Vietnam Airlines shared that the airline is operating flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to destinations in China with a total of 66 flights per week. During the 30-year journey connecting the two countries, Vietnam Airlines has served nearly 12 million passengers and more than 166,000 tons of cargo on its flights.

The event marks a new development step in the comprehensive strategic cooperation between SaigontouristGroup and Vietnam Airlines, following the successful cooperation activities recently implemented, typically the Vietnam - US two-way tourism investment promotion program in the US in 2022, the Vietnam destination promotion program in Japan in 2023, co-participation in the WTM London International Tourism Fair 2023, ITB Berlin International Tourism Fair 2024...

Immediately after the launch program ended, on April 10, Saigontourist Group met with partners and promoted its brand at the Legal Policy Forum to promote economic, investment and trade cooperation between Vietnam and China, organized by the Ministry of Planning and Investment in coordination with the Shanghai International Trade Promotion Committee (China).
