On October 23, Saigon Co.op Distribution Company Limited (SCD) and STC Natural Vina Company delivered goods produced in Vietnam for export to the US market.

Immediately after the program, from the Binh Duong distribution center - the warehouse of Saigon Co.op - 2 containers of Co.op Select private label products will be exported to the US market. The products exported to the US market are domestically produced, selected by Saigon Co.op from fast-moving consumer goods, imbued with the identity and quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine such as dipping sauce, vermicelli, pho, spices, tea, coffee... with an order value of nearly 70,000 USD. All of these Vietnamese products will be sold at the H-mart supermarket system of Hee Chang Group - a famous Korean retail group with more than 30 years of experience in the US market with more than 100 points of sale across the US. In September 2024, SCD successfully exported 2 containers to Canada also under the order of Hee Chang Group. In the last 3 months of the year, SCD will complete the export of 20 containers to foreign markets. SCD focuses on exporting to the world's largest markets such as the US, South Korea, Japan, Australia, China, and Middle Eastern countries. In 2025, SCD plans to export 120-150 containers, with an estimated value of 120 billion VND.

SCD's activities have contributed positively to Saigon Co.op's export sector. Accordingly, in 2023, Saigon Co.op will export Vietnamese agricultural and seafood products to the Singapore market with a total export value of nearly 90 billion VND.
